The week went by okay. We really didn't do much. We all agreed collectively that we had to lay low for awhile after I got arrested. My first day of shopping with Jackie was on Tuesday and I hated every moment of it.
She kept dressing me up in frilly crap that was too expensive for my budget. The only things that I bought was a new necklace, and a new pair of sunglasses. She almost bought the whole store.
As for that though, we did what we normally did, minus breaking the law and what not. We sat in the basement, watched tv, did some circle time a few times, and watched Kelso and Jackie have their everyday annual fight because one of them probably did something stupid or wrong.
As for the picture that Hyde took of me late on Sunday night when I was pretending to be him, he taped it to the old dresser, the one where he keeps his records, in his room in the basement. It was an obvious place too, so whoever went in there, saw that picture.
Oh, and he did in fact label it 'the night Janie got arrested, 76'. Now I had to hope and pray Kitty and Red don't notice next time they're in there. If they found out I got arrested, I'd be grounded for the rest of my life man.
It was currently Saturday at 4. We were going to the concert tonight. "I'm working part time at the plant now." Red told us. "Wait, so, you got laid off?" Eric asked. "No, it's just, temporarily closed." Dad said.
"Which is fine, I can pick some hours up at the hospital." Mom said. This gas stuff was really messing with people. "So, kids, what are your plans for today?" Kitty asked us. "Well, we don't know yet." I said.
She nodded. "You know Eric, the gutters could probably be cleaned." Red said. Before Eric could say anything, Dad got up and went to the garage. Steven, Eric, and I then went to the basement.
I left and went to my room to get ready. I had on my favorite pair of bell bottoms and I had on a shirt that tied in the front. I then had on my favorite pair of sneakers. My hair was down and had a small braid in it.
I put on some jewelry and walked back to the basement. "Let's go get the rest of them." I told my brother and boyfriend. Hyde looked at me and smiled. We walked out the door and found Kelso in the driveway along with Donna.
Kelso opened the passenger door. "That's really sweet Kelso." Donna said. "I'm riding shotgun!" He declared. "What, no you're not!" Donna said. "Uh yeah, I am! Eric?" He said. "Kelso." Eric said. "Yeah!" He said getting into the passenger side. "Kelso get in the back." Eric said.
Kelso groaned and went to the back seat. "Try the last one Kelso, this is where Steven and I are sitting." I told him as Steven got in and sat next to me. "FINE." He said.
As Eric started the car, Dad came out. "Where are you going?" He asked us. "Where just going for a drive." I told him. "Well, she's an old car, so no driving it out of town, ever." He said as he walked away.
"Did you hear that? We can't go." Eric said. "Eric shut up, if you want to go then go!" I said. Donna agreed with me. "Alright." He said. We then went to get Fez and Jackie.
We stopped at The Hub. I have to use the restroom. Donna, Janie?" She said. Donna and I stayed in our chairs. "Donna, Janie!" She said again. We rolled our eyes and got up. I never did understand why girls had to go to the bathroom together. You can do what you've got to do by yourself.
I did catch Fez asking Eric to go to the bathroom with him and I laughed.
After that we left. A little bit after we left, the car broke down and we took it to a mechanic place in the middle of nowhere. "It seems to be the battery, it's 6 years old and shot to hell." The mechanic said.
