Later that night, the group gathered near the interrogation office. The moonlight illuminated their nervous but determined faces.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Sakura asked, her voice filled with apprehension.

"Maybe," Y/N admitted, "but if not, we'll just use the teleportation scrolls, okay?"

The others nodded hesitantly.

"Tsk, we're all going to get caught," Sasuke muttered, earning murmurs of agreement from Ino and Sakura.

"Then why did you agree to come?" Naruto asked, glaring at them.

"Okay, calm down," Choji interjected, trying to ease the tension.

"What a drag. Why did I agree to this?" Shikamaru sighed.

"Stop complaining and wait for the signal," Shino said quietly.

Moments later, Shino's insects returned. "The coast is clear."

"Alright, let's go," Y/N said.

The group entered the interrogation office silently, their movements fluid and precise. They made their way toward the cells.

"Here's where we split up," Y/N instructed. "Shikamaru, Ino, and Kiba, you head left. Kiba, we need your tracking skills for Haku's scent. I'll take Naruto, Hinata, and Sasuke, and we'll go straight. Sakura, Shino, and Choji, you take the right."

"Why don't we get Sasuke?" Ino protested.

"First, fewer people in a group is better for stealth," Y/N explained. "Second, I need Kiba to track Haku's scent. Sasuke stays with me."

"That's so unfair!" Sakura and Ino whined.

"Enough! This is the plan," Y/N said firmly. "If anyone gets into trouble, use the scroll I gave you, and you'll be teleported to safety. Understood?"

A chorus of hesitant "yes" followed, and they split into their assigned groups.

With Y/N's Team

The group moved cautiously through the dimly lit hallways, the cells around them filled with eerie cries and threats.

"Let me out!"
"I'll kill you!"

Naruto stayed close to Y/N, whispering, "This is scary."

"I know," Y/N said, gripping the lantern tightly, "but we have to save Haku."

"Scaredy-cats," Sasuke teased, stepping between Naruto and Y/N to keep them moving forward.

"Shut up, show-off," Naruto muttered but didn't stray from Y/N's side.

Hinata remained close to Y/N, too shy to step near Naruto.

Suddenly, footsteps echoed down the hall. The group ducked into an empty cell, pressing themselves into the shadows.

"So, yeah, I told him I didn't trust that guy," a guard was saying. "But does he listen? No. And then he comes crying to me when things go south."

"Right," the second guard replied.

Naruto's nose twitched. Sasuke noticed too late.

"Achoo!"

The guards froze. "You hear that?"

"Yeah. Let's check it out."

The guards approached cautiously, but when they searched the cell, it was empty.

"Huh. Weird."

"Let's report it to the commander, just in case."

As the guards walked away, the group dropped silently from the ceiling beams above.
