"I think I know just how to get to him."

2nd Person POV

It had been a few weeks since you'd last seen Alastor. Things were feeling a bit.. strange. There were times where you felt as if you were being watched, even though you knew you were completely alone.

While being apart from Alastor, you two would often call each other in your free time. You, when you returned from managing your boutique. And Alastor, actually you didn't quite know what he was up to these recent days.

You had also been listening to his radio broadcasts whenever he was on, it brought you comfort to do so since it felt like you were with him in a way. It almost made you feel safe too.. almost.

Along with the feeling that eyes were following your every step, you had found out that the police had also found two more bodies, bringing the count up to nine. Nine murders within the last half a year. The fact that there was a serial killer currently rampant in New Orleans and that you felt as if you were being almost hunted like a deer, of course you couldn't help but feel unsettled at the least.

"See you later, Princess!" You waved to your cat while she laid completely unbothered on the arm of your sofa. You chuckled to yourself as you closed the door and locked it, then began walking to the bus stop which was just down the road from your house.

As you walked, you couldn't push down the feeling that you were being followed, like you almost heard another pair of steps.

'Don't be paranoid, (Name),' You mentally noted as you quickened your pace, holding your hands close to your chest as if you were guarding yourself.

You gulped, swearing you heard another pair of footsteps as you looked all around you, trying to find the source. Your heart pounded, nearly running as you neared the bus stop.

Once you spotted the bus you sighed in relief, all the anxiety leaving your body as it came to a halt in front of you. Pulling your wallet out of your purse, you turned to look behind you. Seeing nothing and no one, only the lone bench. 'You're going crazy, (Name). Keep it together,' You mentally slapped yourself before going up the stairs on the bus.

You took your seat in a booth after paying the small fee for your ride, looking out the window as you adjusted yourself. 'At least I hope i'm going crazy.'

It had been a busy day at your boutique, seeing as people were getting ready for the upcoming Mardi Gras celebration this coming weekend. You were almost drowning in orders for customs. Today's customers had nearly cleared off your racks, leaving the boutique looking as empty as a desert.

You sat down at the counter before hearing the bell to the shops door ring. "Shit," You muttered under your breath before regaining your composure.

"Welcome! What can I do for you today?" You greeted as you dusted your skirt off before looking up and a familiar looking figure by the door.

"Alastor?" You paused, squinting your eyes to make sure you were seeing right. "Alastor!" You smiled, quickly moving to give the man a hug.
