"(Name), my dear! So lovely to see you again," He returned your embrace with a soft hum before pulling back.

"Where have you been? What have you been up to? I've tried calling you these last few days but you haven't picked up," You prattled, still with a large smile on your face. You were overjoyed at seeing him again. So much that you almost felt as if you were floating, and all your stresses and worries had been washed away just by his presence.

"Oh~, you know me, my dear. I just got caught up in my work is all, nothing too serious," He waved his hand in dismissal with a little wiggle of his fingers and a small smirk adorning his face.

"Uh huh, i'm sure you did mister workaholic," You teased, poking his chest before you turned on your heel and made your way back to the register.

"You're always at the studio, Al, every time we had called these past couple of weeks you were there at the studio," Scolding him while you counted your boutiques earnings for the day.

Alastor chuckled in response. "What can I say, I just love what I do," He smirked, knowing that you weren't aware he actually wasn't talking about his radio show business.

"Oh oh oh!" You gasped. Your face lighting up as an idea came to you and filled you with excitement, causing Alastor to jump a bit at your sudden burst of energy. "What do you think aboutt, mayybe, going to the Mardi Gras parade together this weekend?" Your eyes gleamed with hope as you stared right as him with a cheeky smile on your face.

"Annd, it'll give you a break from all your 'work' and we get to see all the lights~.." You trailed off, listing a few things the two of you could do at the parade.

Alastor chuckled. "Alright, alright, my dear. I suppose we can go to the Mardi Gras," He leaned forward on his cane with a smile as you begun to jump in excitement.

You laughed victoriously. "Yes!" Giving the man a quick peck on the cheek, you began closing up shop for the day.

"Though, my dear, I am here on different business, I fear," Alastor said, clearing his throat a bit before continuing.

You hummed. "What's up?"

"I have a small favor to ask of you," He pulled out a dress shirt which had a large tear on its sleeve.

"While I was on an outing, I caught my sleeve on a the stray branch of a bush and it tore quite a large hole in it. So, I was wondering, if you could possibly tailor it for me?" He asked, handing you the shirt.

"Hmm, nope!" You announced, handing him the shirt back as he stared in confusion and a bit of shock.

"I have a better ideaa!" Walking over to the men's section, you pulled a suit off the rack.

"Most of my shop was cleared out today, but it was really only the ladies outfits. Sooo, here you go!" You held the hanger and suit up in front of him, inspecting how it would look on him.

The suit was made up of a deep red tailcoat which was adorned with gold buttons and pulled over a black ruffled dress shirt and black waistcoat. The bottoms were a pair of plain black trousers. To top off the outfit, it was accessorized with a red and black necktie.

"I appreciate the offer my dear, but I couldn't possibly-" Alastor started before you interrupted.

"No no, I insist! It suits you perfectly! With your black cane and some black boots, it would be perfect for the Mardi Gras celebration!" You shoved the suit and its hanger into his chest, forcing him to grab hold of it.
