Kaylus is on the left, Calista is on the right. ________________________________
It has been three days since you came back from your job. The guild remained the same, except for one factor.
Calista.
What could you say about Calista?
You could say she was a royal pain in the ass, a person who wanted nothing but the attention of others. No, not just others, but men. Especially your man.
Sting.
What could you say about Sting?
He ignored her, he didn't give her the time of day, you were thankful for that. You trusted him fully, you just didn't trust her. Because when she wasn't trying to get at Sting, she was trying to get at Rogue. When Rogue saw her through her antics, she would move on. Move on to Dobengal, Orga, Rufus...
You didn't like her. You didn't like her pinkish-purple hair or her eyes. You hated all of the jewelry she wore. Her earrings, her rings, her necklaces. She always looked decked out, and for no reason. Was it to show off wealth? Who knows, and who cares? She didn't actively add or take away anything from the guild, she was just there. So what was the issue?
You weren't sure, but something didn't feel right as you watched her knock on Sting's office door.
He didn't let her in.
She pouted, and moved on to talk to Rogue, where she would twirl her hair between her 'perfectly' decorated fingers. You wanted nothing more than for her hair to get caught in her rings.
He entertained her conversation, but ended it shortly by standing up and going to the request board. You half expected her to follow him or find another man to prey on, but this time, her eyes fell onto you. She smiled at you, and walked over to the table you sat at, alone.
"Good morning, Sabertooth Princess." Her voice sounded always condescending when talking to you. What was her problem.
"Good morning." You said back, as unproblematic as you could have.
"Do you know when Sting won't be busy?" She asked you, and you shook your head. "He's pretty busy these days, huh?"
"He's always pretty busy. Has been since becoming the Guild Master." You answered her quickly.
"How long ago did he become guild master?"
"After the Grand Magic Games."
"What happened?"
"A lot." You sighed, thinking back to the Games.
Lector was transported to who knows where, and Sting in a state of grief killed Master Jiemma. Sting took on the roll as Master from that day on. Minerva disappeared shortly after her battle with Erza in the final battle. You assumed she left in embarrassment. But there was no longer a dark cloud looming over Sabertooth, and everyone was free to do whatever made them happy. Even the whole town of Gazania agreed; the felt the weight off their shoulders too.
