Knock knock.
No answer.
Knock knock knock.
A chair could be heard being dragged across the floor, and footsteps slowly walking to the door. "Y/n, are you back for—" Sting opened the door with a smile, but then it fell rather quickly. "Oh, Calista. It's just you."
"Just me? Sting, I'm hurt." She faked frowned, but the returned to a smile. "I need to talk to you about something."
"Can it wait? I'm pretty busy right now."
"No, it can't." She said slowly, her smile fading and her eyes looking sad. She pushed by Sting, entering his office and sitting on the couch. He turned his head towards her, wondering where she kept all of her audacity. Maybe she kept it in all of her jewelry. She looked up at him and patted the seat next to her a few times. Sting sighed, closed the door to his office, and took the seat next to her, despite feeling incredibly annoyed.
"What is it? Please make it quick, I'm very busy."
"I wouldn't bother you if it wasn't important, Sting."
"But you have before, that's why I'm saying this. So please, hurry."
"I heard Y/n and Kaylus speaking right inside the door to the pool area."
"Y/n and Kaylus? Why? What were they talking about?" Sting seemed to be on edge.
"Something about dark guilds." She shrugged. "But that's not the issue here."
"You didn't see them do anything, right?" Sting seemed worried, but she flashed him a smile, moved a strand of hair away from her face, showing her rings, and shook her head.
"No, I didn't see anything. I was on the other side of the door. I could only hear."
"Well what were they saying!?"
"No need to get angry, Master. They didn't say anything... weird, if that's what you're wondering."
"Then what were they saying!? You seem to be beating around the bush!"
"They were talking about me! Saying all of these horrible things!" Tears started to well up in her eyes, but buried her face in her hands before any could actually fall.
Sting would let out a small sigh, unsure of what to do in this situation. If it was you crying to him, he'd know exactly what to do. But Calista wasn't you.
"What were they saying?"
"They were saying that I'm apart of a dark guild! Y/n was yelling and saying all of these horrible things about me! She called me a-a.. a.." she was in between sobs and couldn't finish her sentence. Sting pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to collect himself.
"What did she call you, Calista?"
"A succubus!"
Calista continued crying as Sting was trying to remain calm. He knew that you were jealous, but there was no way you would do something like this. You were kind, until someone pissed you off. Maybe that's what was happening. He wanted to call her out, but as a guild master, he had to have compassion for his members, despite how he felt about them.
"It'll be okay. I'll take care of it."
"You will?" She sniffed, wiping her tears away. "What do you plan on doing?"
"I'll talk to her first and get her side of the story, then—"
"And why would you do that? She's just going to lie to you."
"Y/n isn't going to lie to me."
"How can you be so sure? I mean, she hasn't told you that— woops."
"She hasn't told me what?"
