Secret Sabers?{Sting x Reader}?Book 2

As promised, Kaylus had revealed information to you; only you. Of course, you took everything with a grain of salt, but he seemed to know what he was talking about, and would further confirm what he was telling you.

First, he talked about Tenrou Island. You asked the most questions about that situation in general, since you still weren't one hundred percent sure what had happened back then. You knew there was a dragon involved, but that was it.

"There was a dark guild, Grimoire Heart. The guild master went by the name of Hades, but his name was actually Precht." He told you from across the table. You were completely invested.

"Why does that name sound so familiar?"

"Maybe because he was the second guild master of your old guild, Fairy Tail. He was the one to hand over his title to Makarov."

"That seems so crazy to me. Why would he attack Fairy Tail's sacred land?"

"They wanted to awake Zeref, The Black Wizard. He was said to be in some sort of 'sleep state' on the island. Little did they know he was never asleep."

"I've never heard of Zeref. Besides, no one knows of Fairy Tail's land."

"Whatever you say. But I know about it."

You gave an awkward smile, really just trying to process all of this. "So how did the dragon get involved?"

"Acnologia?"

"Sure, whatever his name is."

"He kinda just showed up. There's a few possible theories that I've come up with."

"And?"

"There's a possibility that Zeref created Acnologia himself. They called Acnologia 'The Black Dragon of the Apocalypse,' he's supposed to put an end to an era."

"His goal is to kill us all?"

"I'm not too sure exactly what his motives are, but it's a possibility. There's also a theory that he used to be human."

"Now that's just insane. Humans can't turn into dragons."

"I wouldn't say it's that impossible. I mean, you're a human and you wield the power of a dragon."

"But that's different. That's not a transformation."

"Believe what you want, of course." He lifted his hands in the air, almost as if he were surrendering. "I'm just trying to give you the information I know."

"Right." You just nodded simply, not knowing what to think. Everything he said sounded a bit ridiculous. Why would the second master attack his former guild? Who was Zeref? And why is there a dragon flying around somewhere?

Kaylus's explaining only made you more confused, and left you with more questions than answers. Maybe it was better to go to the source directly; Fairy Tail.

As your thoughts were running a bit wild, Calista had walked over to the table, rest her hands on the top. Kaylus glanced down at her hands, noticing her rings, and then looked up to her face. She was smiling, but it seemed fake.

"Y/n, do you know when Sting will be done with his paperwork?" She asked, her voice sweet. It annoyed you.

"No, I don't. Why do you keep asking?" You asked back, your voice just as sweet and sarcastic.

"I need to talk to him about something important." She was almost whining.

"I can take a message and pass it along if you'd like." You smirked a bit, but she shook her head.

"No, it has to be done in private." She sighed, and then walked off.

"Can't stand her, huh?" Kaylus tilted his head.
