"Hey let's all calm-" he tried speaking but Tyler cut him off mid sentence

"There's too many right now!" Tyler shouted

"That's why we have the traps!" Ashlyn defended "No..NO! I'm getting that keep. Even if we decide we don't need guns, eventually we'll need to go out there and learn how this place works so we can find a way out! That was what we agreed on!"

"Hey, ash..maybe you should-" Aiden tried calming her down.

"Don't tell me what I should do!" She shouted startling Aiden. "If you hadn't been so persistent in bothering me, I never would have gone to Savannah and none of this would have ever happened! You keep pushing my boundaries and I'm tired of it!"

"Ashlyn let's calm down.." M/n tried speaking once more, taking a step back once Ashlyn gave him a glare.

"And you..If you haven't helped Aiden in convincing me to go I probably would have been sleeping peacefully right now and not having this argument with you. Not to mention you've always been trying to save everyone risking your own fucking life to save others, if you think that's any help to us then no! It's just causing us to get more and more worried by what's happening! Stop trying to save everyone because you're not helping at all with that, you're just giving us more things to worry about!" Ashlyn yelled at him harshly, each word and sentence had hit him like an arrow, affecting him alot despite not showing it to his face.

"If that's what you think then so be it, I don't care! I won't stop even if you tell me to, I'm saving everyone because they all families waiting for them at home and I don't! If anyone should get hurt and die by this then it should be me! But right now I need you-all of you to calm down!" He thought silently, oh how badly did he want to tell those words. But he knew it would only cause more conflict than good.

The others could only watch awkwardly as Tyler and Ashlyn yell at eachother, not noticing him taking a deep breath and shouting.

"CALM THE FUCK DOWN YOU TWO! I KNOW YOU'RE SCARED TO SHITLESS RIGHT NOW BUT ARGUING WITH EACHOTHER WONT HELP SHIT!" He yelled startling everyone, they have seen him get angry but not towards them "Ashlyn i know youre scared and tired of carrying the responsibility for what's happening but you should've told us. We're a team and we should be carrying the responsibility all equality whether you're the leader or not. We're going through this together."

"Tyler I know you're afraid, especially since Taylor is your sister and you want nothing but to protect her. But we can't just sit here and do nothing because this things won't go away unless we do something. We have to try and learn more things about this place, the more we know the higher chance we'll get to know how stop this. You don't wanna be stuck here throughout your whole lives, right?"M/n huffed, tired of speaking and sighed. Maybe he was too harsh on them, I mean all he did was try and get them from getting killed, he didn't have a right to say this to them. He should apologize-

"I'm sorry." Taylor apologized "M/n, Ashlyn..I didn't realize you guys were taking on so much pressure on your own, especially you Ashlyn..And you're right M/n, I don't want to be here for the rest of my life."

"the phantoms are just a fact of this place..no matter how many different plans we come up with, how long we put it off, or how many monsters there are, we'll still have to deal with them and get our hands dirty if we want out." She continued "The sooner we face and accept that, the faster we'll get our normal lives back. So forget what I said earlier. I just got a little overwhelmed for a moment."

M/n smiled at her apology, happy that she realized what they had to face in the moment. Fear and acceptance, they have to accept that in order to get out they need to face their fears and accept the conditions.
