School Bus Graveyard [Yan!Various x M!Reader]

Ashlyn looked around for M/n, the bus is about to come by her house and he's still not here. "Where could he be?.."

The bus arrived infront of the porch making her sigh and get in the bus. Aiden looked at Ashlyn with a confused look.

"Where's n/n?" Aiden asked her, although he doesn't show it he's concerned for his best friend. Much more considering what happened last night.

"I don't know.." Ashlyn responded before sitting down, she looked at her to where M/n should be sitting and started to get even more worried. "No don't think like that, there's no way he would give up just like that..he's just resting."

The whole ride to school was silent. Without him it was quiet since he usually the one who starts conversations. Even Aiden felt awkward within the atmosphere.

Once they entered the classroom the others looked at them with a concerned look once they saw that he wasn't with them. Taylor looked especially worried, fiddling with the hem of her sleeve. Tyler was about to ask Ashlyn when she beat him to it.

"I don't know why he's not here today, I'm gonna ask Mr. Thomas later." She responded while putting her bag down.

"Alright settle down class, let's continue where we left off, yeah?" Mr. Thomas entered the class and closed the door.

"Class dismissed, you may have head to your next class now." Mr Thomas announced while organizing the homeworks in his hand.

"Mr. Thomas?" Ashlyn questioned, he looked up from the papers and gave her a smile.

"Oh, what is it Ashlyn?" He asked, she hesitated before asking.

"Did M/n tell you anything on why he's not here today?" She asked

"Oh well..he told me he has a very headache right now and that he can't go today. Did he not text or tell you?" He questioned

"No, he's not even responding to our texts." Tyler grunted while showing his conversation with m/n, difference is that he's flooding the convo asking where he is or why he's not here today. Mr Thomas looks at the flooded convo and sighed.

"I guess the headache got to him first then. But don't worry I'm sure he's fine, maybe you guys should visit him after school." He suggested

"But we don't even know where he li-" Logan got cut off by Ashlyn.

"I know where he lives." She announced

"Oh." Aiden responded "So she knew all along and kept it to herself."

"Nice, let's go visit him after school. We should go and head to our classes now." Taylor suggested, all of them walked out of the classroom. Mr Thomas stayed silent for a moment before looking at M/n's seat.

"I wonder what happened, Ashlyn looks miserable and he didn't come to school today..maybe I should tell them this." He wondered before picking up the papers and walking out of the classroom to the staff room.

The group walked down the stairs, Aiden and Ashlyn following behind looking awkward with eachother. Tyler looked back and sighed.

"You guys are getting on my nerves." He grumbled "How are we supposed to 'celebrate' when you're ruining the somewhat good mood with awkwardness?"

Taylor looked at her brother with an are you serious face. "..what Tyler means is that you both seem a bit tense. There's about 10 minutes before class, how about you guys talk things out and we'll go grab some snacks?"

Now Aiden and Ashlyn were left alone in the staircase, the atmosphere was tense and awkward.

"What was the point in making us talk if neither of us know what to say?" She thought
