He holds back a laugh. 'Friend'. Probably the only time he'll refer Taehyun as, all just to escape from the grasps of girls.

Taehyun had been stuffing himself with pastries since he came. He didn't know what else to do, so all he could think of was finish the cakes and puddings on the dessert table. Never mind if it finishes, I'm sure there's a refill for desserts. Yeonjun, on the other hand, stands right next to him, watching him eat. Watching Taehyun eat was already filling for Yeonjun, he feels like he was watching over a kitten.

"Oh shit. Yeonjun, I'll be right back. My stomach's acting up." Taehyun says, realizing he shouldn't have eaten so much.

Taehyun will never get used to big houses, although he doesn't remember where he used to stay before he lost his memories, he knew big houses weren't for him. He rather settles into an apartment. Speaking of houses, he hopes Sir Choi can let him leave sooner or later, Taehyun is really thinking of staying at the college dorms until he saves up enough to find a place to stay. Soobin even offered him to stay in the dorms with him for the meantime since he doesn't have a roommate, and having Soobin as a roommate is way better than living under one roof with Choi Beomgyu.

Taehyun walks pass door by door, in hopes to find a bathroom, but since the first day he tried searching for a bathroom at the Choi's mansion, he knows his luck in finding bathrooms aren't the best. However, Taehyun spots a room that left the door ajar. He peeks inside the room and déjà vu strikes him as he sees a room filled with books, his eyes twinkle at the sight most instantly. Just like at the mansion when he first had to go to Sir Choi's office, he ended up at their mini library. Taehyun's bad luck in finding toilets only winds him up in finding mini libraries.

Welp, that's luck for him there.

The urge to trace his fingers on the spines of the books along the shelves washes over him and the need for him to go to the bathroom disappears too. "One book wouldn't hurt, right?" Taehyun tells himself and quietly enters the room.

All Beomgyu wants is to escape a bit from the party. He's had enough people breathing down his neck and enough to deal with desperate groupies. Beomgyu walks down the hallways of the mansion, admiring the paintings on the wall. The mansion's slightly bigger than his family's and a lot more confusing. Compared to his, their hallways don't look like a maze. Beomgyu stops in his tracks as he spots a door left ajar.

Beomgyu mouths something along the lines of 'How reckless are they to leave the door open?'

Beomgyu approaches the room, his hand on the knob about to close the door but then he takes a peek into the room and finds a certain someone inside. Beomgyu watches Taehyun, his nose dug in a book, even if the door creaked, the younger didn't bother to look up, his fullest attention on the book as his eyes follows the words across the pages. He looks delicate, the yellow light of the room hit the perfect spots on his face. Beomgyu recalls his first impression on the boy on the day he found him in that truck;

Beautiful.

He remembers the younger who was scrawny and skeleton the first time he saw him, eyes drooping with bags under his eyes and his skin pale like a corpse. Now, sitting on the floor in front of him, with his legs folded and hands gripped on the book, the boy regained his tan skin, he is still skinny but not terribly, he looked just right and back to normal.

If back then Beomgyu thought he was beautiful, Taehyun now is ethereal.

"Do you need something? I can feel your intense gaze on me." Taehyun says, looking up through his lashes.

Beomgyu scoffs and then enters the room, halting his steps right in front of the younger. Beomgyu looks down at him, Taehyun on the other hand tilts his head to face the latter after feeling the latter's shadow blocking the light from his reading.
