"Hey Natsu! That thing is a sea serpent!" Sting ran over to him.
"I've never heard of one." Natsu shrugged.
"No? Well, it's about what it sounds like! Looks like a serpent, lives in the sea!"
"Then why is it not there right now!?"
The serpent would let out a huge roar, catching everyone's attention. Its mouth was wide open as it tried to attack everyone, crashing into the ground. Luckily, you all had moved out of the way. However, you were separated from Sting. You had ran off with Erza and Gray.
Natsu and Lucy ran together in a direction, and the serpent seemed only interested in them. The serpent followed them as they ran into the ruins.
"Erza! The flare!" You shouted, and she didn't hesitate signaling the flare for help.
"Erza! Where are the others!?" Sting shouted, finally joining back with everyone.
"They've been locked inside!"
Suddenly, you started to hear explosions coming from the coast, where the magic council were firing cannons at the serpent. It seemed to have scared it off, because it disappeared shortly after. However, there was a loud thumping to come afterwards. Like giant foot steps or even a giant heartbeat. As if the island was alive.
The serpent then came back, and proceeded to wrap its body around the ruins. "We're gonna have to take this monster down soon!" Rogue said to Sting.
"Yeah, I know! Before our friends inside there get crushed to bits!"
"Forget soon! It's now!" Erza shouted, equipping a sword and charging at the serpent. In no time at all, she ended up cutting the serpent's body.
"Ice cannon!" Gray yelled. A ball of ice hitting the serpent on the side of its neck.
"Y/n! Let's go!" Sting shouted at you.
"Right!"
"Shadow Dragon...!" Rogue started out.
"White Dragon...!"
"Ice Dragon...!"
"Roar!" You all yelled out in unison.
Your magic blended together, a beautiful spiral of black, white, and blue magic. It was a direct hit, right in the serpent's face. It had fell backwards, its tongue sticking out.
"Yeah! Sting is as good at kicking butt than ever!" Lector shouted happily.
"Rogue too!" Frosch cheered.
"Woohoo! Yes Y/n!" Lola also cheered.
"That's... incredible. They're incredible." Kaylus, who was with the exceeds, Wendy and Calista, gawked. "She's incredible."
"Woo! Go Sting!" Calista cheered. You snapped your head back at her, ready to fight her due to all of the adrenaline rushing your body, but Sting had brought your attention back.
"Y/n! It's getting back up!"
The serpent did get back up, emitted what you could only call a 'purple wave' of magic, or you thought it was.
