Obscuring The Flow BNHA x Reader

You had just finished training and decided to grab yourself a nice hot drink. Sitting at a bunch you sipped on your drink until you heard a sound " Mew" you looked around " Mew." you kept looking around and then you spotted a purple haired male looking up a tree " How long has she been up there?" you asked him " A while. I tried to get her down with some canned food but nothing came out of it." he sighed.

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he yelled as you placed your drink down and started climbing the tree " I'm trying to get her down. " you explained as you climbed higher " If you fall from there you might break something! " he called out " I'll be fine. Here, kitty kitty, here. " you said stretching, your hand forward. The cat purred and walked to you, you softly held it " Told you it will be fine." you said looking down at the boy.

Hearing a crack you looked at the branch you were sitting on " Crap." was the only thing you managed to say before it broke, you held the cat tightly  in your arms awaiting your fall but it never came “ What are you doing climbing trees…” mumbled the man and you cracked an eye open “ Eraser Head!” you cheered and the man frowned “ You again. Are you always up for trouble?” asked the man and you beamed “ You remember me!” you said “ Hard not to.” he said placing you down.

The purple haired male run to you “ Are you ok…?” he asked “ Call me ( Y/n), yea thanks to Eraser Head.” you said petting the cat “ Hitoshi, Hitoshi Shinso.” he said and Aizawa looked at the two of you “ So you climbed up there to save the cat? Why not use your Quirk?” he asked “ I have to clap my hands to activate it. If I let her go she would get hurt.” you said as a matter of fact “ Why didn’t you use your Quirk to get the cat.” explained the man as the two looked at you. Your face went blank “ I….didn’t think about that.” you mumbled.

After getting her some food the three of you sat and watched her “ Can you take her home?” asked Shinso and you shook your head “ No, my mom works with fabrics so there aren’t any pets allowed. I would love to though.” you mumbled the last part petting her and looked at the hero “ What about you?” you asked him and the man shook his head “ I can take her then.” said the purple haired “ Oh! Can I visit her sometime?” you asked him and even though hesitant he nodded.

“ She’s been on her phone quite a lot.” mumbled your mother to your father who nodde “ Do you think….its a boyfriend?” she wondered making the man flinch “ Maybe she’s just talking with Inasa.” he replied and your mother shook her head “ I checked by asking her and they’re going to meet today for Quirk training. So it’s someone else.” she said. Feeling their gazes you looked up from your phone, Shinso has been sending you pictures of the kitty you had saved “ Is something the matter?” you asked them “ No, no just wondering to who you were talking too.” said your mother and you smiled “ Just a new friend.” you said as another message came ‘ IT’S DEFINATLY A BOYFRIEND!’ thought your parents.

Toga was not really happy, first that dumb feather you wore around your neck and now the constant texting, she hated this, absolutely hated it, nothing had really change but for some reason as the year passed it seemed like you were being pulled away from her, it was just a feeling, a stinging fear at the back of her head and she had to do something about it “ Himi-chan did you listen?” you asked her and she shook her head “ I have to take these to the upperclassmen. Will you wait for me at the rooftop?” you asked and she nodded.

She waited for you, holding the box cutter tightly in her hands waiting for you, you were late, it normally wouldn’t take that long to drop something at the upperclassmen ‘ Did she regret this?’ she thought and flinched when her phone buzzed. It was a text from you “ Sorry, something came up with a friend and I had to leave.” she read and smiled “ Ah ( Y/n)-chan you’re always so popular. Nobody is pressuring you to be normal yet you’re always surrounded by people. I like you so much. I wanna be you.” she mumbled staring at the reflection of your face in a broken window resting on the rooftop floor.

You knocked at the door of Shinso’s house “ Come one, open up. Come on.” you mumbled anxiously “ Welcome-“ “ Is she ok?” you asked and the boy nodded motioning you inside “ Come up, you have to see.” he said “ You’re making me anxious you know!” you said and the purple haired boy chuckled “ Sorry but I just wanted to surprise you.” he said with a toothy smile as he pulled the blanket on the cats bed.

Letting out a squeal “ LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!” you cheered kneeling next to the basket and petting the cat as you fawned over her kittens “ So after this you know what we have to do.” he said and you nodded “ Name them!” you both said. After a few hours of deciding on names and playing with the kittens it was time to go home “ I can give you a ride on my bike.” he said as he handed you your jacket “ It’s kinda far, I don’t want to tire you out.” you said and he shook his head  “ I wouldn’t offer - Wait. What happened to your arm?” he asked seeing the bandages.

Adjusting them you put on your jacket “ It’s from training my Quirk. I’m planing to apply on U.A in a few years.” you said with a smile “ Oh.” he said and you titled your head to the side “ What about you Shinso-kuhn, are you planning on becoming a hero?” you asked him and the boy hesitantly nodded “ Yea, I’m actually planning for U.A as well. Even though my classmates say that my Quirk isn’t really suited for it.” he said as you walked out of the house “ Why?” you asked ‘ I obviously know but you can’t know that.’ you thought and you felt your body freeze up “ Make a funny face.” he said and you probably did just that because the boy started laughing.

” That’s why. They say it’s better suited for a villain.” he said and you scoffed “ Yea right. Do you know how easy it would be to capture villains with your Quirk? Also you can do some really cool hand to hand like Eraser Head! I don’t think that your Quirk is what detainments if you’ll become a hero or a villain.” you said and the boy was focused on you “ I hop we’ll become classmates Shinso-kun.” you said and the boy looked away “ Call me Hitoshi.” he mumbled getting on his bike.

On your way back you were seen by two blonds, Toga who was going home with another group of girls, she stopped on her tracks eyes going from your smiling face to the face of the boy ridding with you and Bakugo who also froze in place “ Wait! Was that ( L/n)?” asked one of his minions your joyful expression still on his mind completely contrasting with the last expression you had directed at him “ Do you think she got a boyfriend?” asked someone else “ Shut it.” mumbled Bakugo “ She was always quiet popular.” said another “ Shut it.” spat Bakugo gritting his teeth “ Hehe yea, but I always thought she would end up with Deku. They are meeting even-“ “ I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!” yelled Bakugo.
