"Nothing, forget about it, I've said too much."

"No, you have to tell me now!"

"I can't, it's not my place." She shook her head. "I shouldn't say... unless you can promise me one thing."

"Anything! What is it?!"

"Keep her away from me! She hates me and I've done nothing wrong!"

"I can't promise you that."

"You have to! You said anything!"

"You're apart of this guild, Calista! Start acting like it! You either get along with people or you don't and avoid them best you can! There is only so much I can do as a guild master! I have other important stuff to take care of, this petty bullshit isn't at the top of my list, especially when you're accusing my girlfriend!"

"Okay, time out." She said, flicking her wrist up. With literally the flick of her wrist, everything was frozen in time. With her pointer finger, she started to make circles in a counterclockwise direction. "Rewind."

"Y/n isn't going to lie to me."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because she hasn't before." Sting say up from the couch, crossing his arms.

"She may not be directly lying to you, but there may be things being kept from you."

"Oh yeah? Like what exactly?"

"On the island. You probably didn't see it because she was behind you. But she lost her balance and Kaylus had caught her. Everyone could feel the tension."

"Tension? There was tension?"

"Mhm, really thick tension."

Sting took a breath, moving his head from side to side to crack his neck. He couldn't believe it. He wouldn't believe it.

"I mean, I could spy on them for you if you'd like. For something in exchange, that is."

"No. I trust Y/n, so I'll decline your offer."

"Are you sure that's the best idea?"

"I'm positive."

"Ugh! Rewind!" She moved her finger again in the same motion as before.

"It'll be okay. I'll take care of it."

"You will?" She sniffed, wiping her tears away. "What do you plan on doing?"

"I'll talk to her first and get her side of the story, then—"

"No, just skip the talk. Just... tell her to leave me alone, please?" She looked up at Sting, her purple eyes all sad. Sting did feel a little bad. But not bad enough. Calista could see that. She started to fidget with one of her rings, the one shaped as a heart. Sting noticed it and looked down, but otherwise ignored her fidgeting. "Please?"

"I'll talk to her. That's all I can do." Sting said coldly. "Now, please, I have work to do. We can discuss this later on."

Calista's mouth hung open at Sting's attitude, but otherwise ignored it. However, she was a bit confused. She would ignore that too though, and return to it later.

"Alright, thank you for listening to me, Sting. You're a good guild master."

Sting just nodded as Calista showed herself out. As she exited the office, you came around the corner looking like you were fuming. She didn't say anything to you other than giving you a small smirk as she walked away. You watched her as she did, and then went into the office, heat radiating off of your body. Sting heard the door open and close again, and thought it was Calista. He couldn't tell, his back was turned.
