Most Peculiar (Enoch O'Connor x Reader)

Jake and Y/n follow Emma away from the group to a shore at the bottom of the cliff. The group carefully walks on the rocks with the wind hitting them, "Is this the place?" Jake asks. 

"No. This is how we get there." Emma answers. They stop at a boat on the shore and Emma motions the two to get in. Jake and Y/n sit on the front row while Emma pushes the boat into the water and takes a seat behind them to steer the boat.

The boat travels quite far away from the shore and Emma stops the boat in the middle of the ocean. Emma then stands up and pulls her dress over her head. Jake is surprised and looks away quickly with a slight blush on his face. Y/n noticed Emma was wearing shorts and a tank top underneath her dress and nudged Jake making him slowly look back up.

Emma throws her dress down and jumps out of the boat. Jake and Y/n start to panic when they realize she is still wearing her metal shoes. "Emma! Your shoes!" Jake yells out as both of them start taking off their sweaters and shoes. "Lead shoes!" Y/n adds.

They jump off the boat and quickly swim after Emma when they notice she is sinking at a fast rate.  Emma started blowing bubbles at the duo and two bubbles that were larger than normal slowly went over each of their heads, creating an air bubble for them to breathe.

Emma continues to sink till she enters a ship and lands on top of a staircase. She helps Jake and Y/n stand next to her and they notice a bunch of skeletons sitting at different tables in front of them. Emma then started swimming ahead with the two following her. As they swim, Jake accidentally kicks a skeleton making the small fish inside swim away.

They follow Emma into a room and once she sees the both of them inside, she closes both doors making sure to leave a small opening. She turns around and starts blowing many bubbles in front of the duo. Jake and Y/n stare ahead with wide eyes once they notice the water quickly going towards them. The force of the water pushed the group towards the door and once all of the water left the room, Emma quickly turned around and closed the door fully shut.

"Welcome to my secret hideout." Emma announces and walks more into the room. Jake and Y/n look around shocked. "How did you..." Jake tried to speak, but was at a loss of words.

"Air." Emma answers. "It's my peculiarity. It does what I want." Emma explains as she leans on a counter.

"It's amazing." Y/n breathes out, standing in the middle of the room in amazement. Emma laughs at Y/n's compliment as Jake stands next to her. Emma and Jake stare into each other eye's, each with a different emotion behind them. Emma was the first to look away and go to the other side of the counter.

Y/n looks at the other two when she notices how silent the room is and sees Emma standing in front of Jake. She walks towards the two and notices the serious look on Emma's face. "Jake. Y/n...before your grandfather retired, he asked me to keep this safe." Emma reaches towards the bottom and pulls out a meat container. She places it on top of the counter and starts to open it.

Once it was open, she turned it around to show the two what was inside. Jake pulls out an envelope and opens it while Emma walks back to stand next to Y/n. Once Jake opens it, he pulls out different pieces of paper.

"This is our grandpa's old map." Jake says while Y/n takes the old map out of his hands.

"It shows you where the loops are." Emma says as Y/n opens the map to see. Jake then looks at old photos of different people, all of them having pure white eyes. One picture stands out as the same man Jake and Y/n saw in the middle of the street the day their grandpa died. "That's him! That's the man we saw. Who is he?" Jake asks as Emma and Y/n stand closer to him to get a better look at the picture.

"That's Barron. He's the leader." Emma says once she recognizes the man.

"Leader of what?" Y/n asks.

"Who are these people?" Jake asks.
