Back in the parlor, Horace and Hugh try to move another couch, but they can't so Bronwyn pushes them aside to move it herself. Enoch, Emma, Y/n, and Jake walk back into the parlor just before Bronwyn moves the couch against the doors they walk through. All the younger kids stand on the first couch they move, keeping each other steady. Emma passed Fiona some gardening tools and Fiona passed them to the older children.

"Miss. Avocet!" Jake calls out and tosses the bow and arrow he found.

Miss. Avocet catches it and turns to the children. "Now, children. Now that you're all here, there's a few rules. Your primary job is to stay safe. Leave the Hollow to me. I don't want to see any heroics. Now, those of you with garden tools I must insist that you..." Before Miss. Avocet can finish her sentence, she was pulled through the window she was standing in front of.

The younger children yelled out as the older children ready their garden tools. Jake dives towards the floor to grab to bow and Y/n stands behind him with her garden pruner pointed out. Jake was able to see the Hollow eating Miss. Avocet's eyes, while everyone else sees nothing. Y/n suddenly felt like she was hungry and knew that it was the Hollow she was feeling. Jake's eyes widen when he sees the Hollow entering through the window and quickly gets off the ground pushing Y/n behind him. The rest of the children see the curtains move while the window covers break when the Hollow enters the room.

Enoch pushes Jake behind him as he stands in front of the Hollow. "No, Enoch! Get back!" Jake yells out. Enoch turns around to look at Jake when suddenly the Hollow tongue wraps around Enoch's waist and raises him high towards the ceiling. All the children just see Enoch floating in the air and in the light, they see the shadow of the Hollow's tongues and the upper body moving around. Jake readies the bow, but doesn't shoot since the Hollow is moving Enoch around and can't get a clear shot. Enoch hits the glass doors leading towards the gardens to a mirror and to a painting making it fall.

"Go. Get to the attic!" Y/n yells out as she stands on the side of Jake his eyes never leaving the Hollow.

"Come on!" Emma says as they turn around towards the doors. Bronwyn pushes the door open as children walk through.

The Hollow steadies Enoch as his tongues get closer to Enoch's eyes. Jake steadies the bow and shoots the Hollow in its shoulders making it drop Enoch and tumble into a corner table. Emma and Olive quickly exit the parlor and Y/n runs towards Enoch making sure he is okay.

"Go. Get out!" Jake says making sure the two are in front of him as they run towards the door. Enoch gets out first and turns around to help Y/n out.

"Y/n, come on!" Enoch says as he takes her hand and pulls her towards the attic. Jake looks back to see the Hollow destroying the parlor trying to leave the room. Enoch makes sure that Y/n is still holding his hand as they run up the stairs and towards the doors to the attic. Jake looks back once more to see the Hollow leaving to parlor and trying to follow them. Jake runs through the doors and quickly locks them before running up towards the attic.

Once Jake enters the attic he sees Y/n checking up on the children, making sure they are okay while still holding onto Enoch's hand. Jake looks out of the window to see it raining and hears plans dropping bombs. "Crap! It is almost reset!" Jake says as he opens the window looking for a way out of the house. Y/n turns her head towards the door as she hears the Hollow trying to open the locked door.

"Jake, hurry!" Y/n says as she motions the children to get closer to the window and away from the entrance of the room.

"Fiona, is there anything you can do with that tree?" Jake asks as Fiona appears beside him and sees a tree close by.

"Yes." She answers.

"Be careful." Jake says. Fiona stepped out of the window and slid down the roof, stopping on the rain gutter before she could fall off the roof.
