Deva : I told you right ! Why you touched him ?

Radha Rama got angry by the way deva reacted. She shouted at the guards.

Radha Rama : what are you looking at ? Shooting him down !

Deva : No one should touch him ! Please ! I.. kindly ...request .

As the guards surrounded him and aimed at him. Deva chopped of Narang's head . Narang's head fell near Varadha's  feet. Varadha was taken aback. He just stared at narang's head which is at his feet. Everyone looked at him with terror. In khansaar they have a rule. When a person is proven to be stronger than the opponent . No one is allowed to shoot him.  Varadha felt a mixed emotion. He looked at deva who is still raging. Deva looked at aarathi. She seems to be unmoved but both Varadha and dev saw a  tears escaping from her eyes.

Aarathi stood up and descended towards them from her chair. others left one after the other. 

Bhaarava ( to ranga ) : the rooster is yours ! 

Ranga : haaa ! 

Ranga became euphoric after seeing that.

Vaali : Aarathrika ! 

Aarathrika didn't speak anything but stood silently.

Vaali : You attacked the chief in his court room and you did that for your own father's enemies. I don't think you deserve to be the next chief. 

Gurung : yes ! She doesn't deserve that. It is not easy.

Ranga ( to bhaarava ) : Hen is in trouble.

Bhaarava chuckled.

Aarathrika : Any of you can be the next chief. 

Ranga chuckled.

Aarathrika : Don't think that i am accepting a defeat without a war. This is my first step in showing my desirability for becoming the next chief. You can consider it as my call for a war.

The Doras from  Ghaniyar tribe looked at her with astonishment. They didn't expect such answer. 

Ranga : how can she fight with us ? 

Cheeka : didn't you see that guy ? He will stand as shield in-front of her. 

Vaali : you people are underestimating varadha a lot. He is not a lion. But a hunter who is caged and not allowed to hunt. Once those chains get broken he will show his strength .

Ranga laughed in a mocking voice.

Aarathi stared at her father's corpse. 

Varadha : Aarathi ! 

Aarathi : No ! Don't say anything if you are trying to console me. I don't need that. 

Deva : Sorry ! 

Aarathi looked at him with bloodshot eyes. Everyone departed from the one by one except the trio and few soldiers.

Aarathi : leave this room ! We need to talk ! 

The guards didn't move. She shouted at them.

Aarathi : what are you waiting for ? Are you guys expecting that this dead man will wake up and order you ? 

They all left the room.

Deva : Aarathi !

Aarathi : why did you say sorry ?

Deva : I killed him right ! 

Aarathi : I don't want you to apologise for this deva. I am not going to lie. I am hurt. I am hurt by seeing him lifelessly. After all he is my father. But he was part of my life for only 10 years. The day when he killed my mother I considered him dead in my mind. In the past 25 years I was worried only about us. You , me , Varadha and Baachi. But i thought of controlling this situation in a different manner. That is the reason why i was silent till the last minute and aimed that dagger at his wrist. But we both had same timing. 

Deva chuckled sadly. 

Aarathi : the consequences will be worse. But we can pass this together. Am i right Varadha ?

Varadha didn't say anything.

Aarathi : listen to my words till the voting ends. I am not requesting but ordering you two. Many people will try to talk with you and change your mind Varadha. But stick to your decision. Listen to your heart . I know very well that your heart and mind won't be on one side even for once. I also know that you always prefer to listen to your mind. But for one time ! 

Varadha was still silent.

Deva looked at Varadha. Varadha averted his eyes. 

Vaali : excuse me ! 

Aarathi glared at him.

Vaali : sorry ! Sorry for disturbing you people but I want to remind you about him ! 

Vaali pointed towards narang's dead body. 

Vaali : his last rites are going to be conducted today ! You have to do some rituals. Are you fine with that ? 

Deva : say yes ! 

Aarathi : hmm. 

Vaali ordered the guards to get the corpse. After a minute deva spoke again.

Deva : why you gave up on being the next chief ? 

Aarathi : I don't know. I felt like I don't need that. 

Varadha murmured something.

Deva : those guards are dying to take us back to the prison.

Aarathi : If the voting is done in the favour of Continuing ceasefire i am going to give you a 10 years imprisonment as punishment. 

Deva : great ! I expected more than that . You are going to leave him right ? 

Aarathi : You warned everyone right ! No one is supposed to touch him right ? 

Aarathi pulled  varadha towards her by his shirt. Deva chuckled. 

Varadha : Leave me Aarathi ! 

Aarathi : You don't have right  ! I have all exclusive rights on you. You can continue that angry expression. 

Varadha : for god sake behave according to the situation ! You two are behaving as if nothing happened. Your behaviour affects ceasefire voting more than deva's deeds.

Varadha told by stressing each and every single word. He never used that tone with aarathi.

Aarathi : guards ! Take them away ! 

The guards came and took them back to mannars jail.

Rudra was strolling in his room.

Informer : anna ! 

Rudra : whose head ? Varadha or new guy ? 

Informer : Naarang ! 

He looked at him with wide eyes.
