Mythili walked closer to him and whispered in his ears.
Mythili : You are lucky enough to get a romantic lady like me.
Deva stood Tall, broad-shouldered, with a chiseled jawline that spoke of strength, he seemed to radiate power even when lost in thought. Yet, despite the confident exterior, the air around him was heavy with a quietness that subdued his imposing presence.
Mythili, on the other hand, was anything but quiet. Her voice rang like a soft music, a sound that would make anyone pause. Her bold eyes met his and the playful grin on her lips told him that she was already planning her next move.
Deva shifted uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his neck, his deep-set eyes are darting away for a moment before finding her gaze again.
Deva : You're distracting me.
He said, his voice is a rumble that barely masked the nervous tremor beneath it.
Mythili : And you're as tense as ever.
Mythili teased by moving closer towards him with the kind of confidence that made the night itself take notice. She stopped just in front of him, her eyes are twinkling.
Mythili : But I'm here now. What are you going to do about it ?
Deva's chest tightened, but he managed a small smile.
Deva : I could ask you the same.
Before he could react, Mythili's fingers reached out, tracing the sharp line of his jaw. His eyes widened slightly, and he let out a soft, involuntary breath.
Mythili : You always act like you're in control.
She said, her voice is low, almost a whisper, as if sharing a secret only the night could hear.
Mythili : But we both know you're not.
Deva's throat tightened, and for a moment, he struggled to find words.
Deva : I......
But Mythili didn't let him finish. She leaned in, her eyes are searching his, and without warning, pressed her lips to his in a kiss that was all heat and daring. It was the kind of kiss that made time hold its breath, where the world faded and there was only the rush of her touch, the feel of her against him, soft and bold.
Deva's hands, normally so steady, shook as they found their way to her waist, pulling her closer. He felt the warmth of her body, the way she fit against him like she was made to be there. She smiled into the kiss, breaking away just enough to look up at him, her eyes sparkling with triumph and something deeper.
Mythili : You're holding back.
She said, running a hand up his chest, where the steady beat of his heart thudded against her palm.
Mythili : And I'm not used to that.
Deva's lips parted in surprise, a hint of a laugh escaping before he caught himself.
Deva : I'm... not good at this, you know that very well.
He admitted, the confession is sounding louder in the quiet than he intended.
Mythili's smile softened, the playful challenge in her eyes melting into something tender.
Mythili : Good thing I am, then.
She whispered, pressing a warm kiss to the corner of his mouth before pulling back and taking his hand in hers.
Mythili : And I don't mind teaching you.
Deva's heart raced, the pulse in his veins a drumbeat of excitement and trepidation.
Deva : What if I fail ?
She leaned in, her voice is a caress.
Mythili : Then I'll keep showing you until you get it right.
He swallowed hard, the roughness of his breath betraying his vulnerability.
Deva : And what if......
She placed a finger over his lips, the touch soft and grounding.
Mythili : Deva, you don't have to be perfect. Just be you. I am madly in love with this unromantic man who also loves me back to the core.
The sincerity in her voice unlocked something inside him, and he found himself smiling, the tension in his shoulders easing. The man who had always kept his emotions locked away, hidden behind a fortress of stoicism, now stood vulnerable and open in front of the one person who dared to see him for who he was.
His hands found her face, fingers brushing against her soft skin, eyes tracing her features as if committing them to memory.
Deva : Mythili !
He said, the name became a prayer on his lips,
Deva : I love you.
Her laughter rang out, rich and warm.
Mythili : Good. I love you too.
Deva pulled her into his arms, and this time, it was he who initiated the kiss, a gentle yet fierce kiss that spoke of all the things he could never say aloud. They stood like that for a long while, wrapped in each other's warmth, a silent promise hanging between them.

In the distant corner of the palace , Om was sitting in his room and thinking about everything that had happened and is happening. Suddenly something stirred in him. He realised that he is helpless and powerless. He had hoped that few of the kaparis and doras might be on his side but almost everyone gave up on the plans. All are devoted to Varadha now. He realised that he should stay on a good note with varadha if he wants to survive.
The door to his room bang opened with a thud. Radha Rama entered inside with an expressionless face that turned into an evil smirk as she approached him.
Radha Rama : How are you mama ?
Om nodded and asked her to sit. She sat down on the couch and looked up to speak, but om spoke in turn ,
Om : What brought you here ?
Radha Rama : A realisation !
Om : What did you realise ?
Radha Rama : I thought Varadha is wise and will be able to rule khansaar well. But he isn't, He is good for nothing. He gave the whole decision making power to that deva. He just does what he says. That bitch Mythili......
Om : She is Vellar's daughter. Isn't she ?
Radha Rama nodded.
Om : Do you know why all 3 clans hate vellar ?
Radha Rama : Because he is wicked enough to team up with khansaar's enemies and killed his own trustworthy Friends.
Om chuckled bitterly.
Om : Because he was also a great warrior with immense strength , courage and intelligence. You people don't know the full story, i agree that he is no saint. But someone with the same positive attributes in him and positive nature is definitely worth having around. And that person is mythili ! His blood. his daughter who didn't get his wickedness.
