Deva didn't speak anything but looked at Varadha and Aarathi. He is hoping that they'll clear the air between them. 

Varadha : Rey Deva ! Get ready soon. We have some important work.

Deva : Ok ! 

Varadha retreated to his room. Aarathi stood in the middle of the hallway as she is perplexed about what she is supposed to do. The serenity of varadha's presence is no more evident in her life at this point. She decided to address this with him in the evening after he returns from the important work that he just told.

Aarathi felt someone tapping her shoulder. She turned around and saw mythili who is beaming with a wide smile.

Aarathi : Huff ! Finally you're smiling. What magic did he do ? 

Mythili : Just stop that Aarathi. Don't tease me. 

Aarathi : Alright ! I'll be there in 20 minutes. Make arrangements for the breakfast. The boys are going somewhere. 

Mythili : Okay ! 

Mythili descended downstairs and walked towards the kitchen. Aarathi went to her room and saw Varadha who is talking with someone on phone. She silently grabbed her clothes from the wardrobe and went to have a bath. By the time she came out drying her hair with a towel, varadha is nowhere to see. She hurriedly walked outside and almost tripped on her saree. Varadha held her by her waist and helped her to balance herself.

Varadha : Are you out of mind ? For god's sake you are going to be a mother soon. Can't you be a little careful ? 

Aarathi didn't say anything but smiled sadly. Varadha spoke with her after what felt like an eternity to her. 

Varadha : Be careful ! 

Varadha averted his gaze and walked downstairs. He sat near the dining table and mythili came there holding a tray full of food. As soon as he saw her , He got up and walked away. Mythili felt hurt because of the coldness. Varadha stopped near the door and shouted at Rinda.

Varadha : Rey ! Tell Deva that i am waiting for him in the car. 

Rinda : Ok Anna ! 

Aarathi : Rinda ! Tell your brother not to step out without eating. Tell him that I won't even touch water if he skips his breakfast.

Deva came downstairs and signalled mythili as if asking her about what had happened. She shrugged her shoulders and served breakfast to him. 

Varadha glared at Aarathi who is already looking at him with a stern face.  He roughly walked towards the dining table and started eating the breakfast hurriedly.

Deva : Rey ! Why are you eating like that ? 

Varadha : Do i have to give an explanation for my eating style when you people are making multiple things behind my back ? 

Deva sighed and looked at Aarathi who facepalmed.

Deva : Alright ! What's the important work about which you've mentioned ? 

Varadha : I am planning to involve  in politics of India.

Deva : What ? 

Varadha : Yesterday a central minister in country's cabinet met me. We had a discussion about the upcoming elections. He wants to me give financial support for elections campaigning.

Mythili : It's illegal to bribe people for votes.

Varadha : I don't want to listen anything from you. Remember your roots and your family before speaking something. 

Mythili is taken aback but she too felt that Varadha is right. Afterall she is from a family hated by whole khansaar. A family that was labelled as monstrous by the land of cruel and heartless people. Even the evil found her family evil since decades.

Deva looked at Mythili apologetically and Aarathi just left the room. Deva saw the tears in Mythili's eyes . She is trying hard not to cry. She very well know that gaining Varadha's trust isn't that easy. But she felt like she should make him understand that a evil father can have a good daughter. Same like how he is good natured contrast to his wicked father Raja Mannar. She decided to speak up and bare the consequences. She is well aware that Deva and Aarathi will definitely control the situation. 

Mythili : Judging a person by their family's actions isn't something you are supposed to varadha .  Afterall you are Raja mannar's son . But you didn't inherit his wicked nature. Same goes for me.

Saying that mythili left the room. Her hands are trembling but she composed herself. She made Varadha speechless. Deva smirked to himself by listening to Mythili's words. He can't be more happy to see his lady teaching harsh truths and realities to his best friend who is too fragile but seems to be mighty and majestic. 

Varadha is still stunned. He indeed felt that mythili's words are right. But his heart isn't ready to accept that. He very well knows that Mythili's father is many folds evil and wicked than hus own father. Even Deva knows that and too be clear deva's family suffered the most because of Mythili's father, but he is being all nice to her and probably going to marry her soon.

Aarathi was sitting in the garden and the sound of chirping birds is echoing in the background. She is unable to bear the situation and the pain. She is hurt by varadha's behaviour. She wondered if he will ever talk to her normally again. She rubbed her belly and a small smile crept across her face.

Aarathi : See baby ! Your dad is extremely dumb. I am telling you, He will be lost without me and your deva uncle. Your dad grew up into a handsome man with no brains. 

Aarathi spoke with her baby by sitting on the round ledge around a huge banyan tree. She heard footsteps nearing her. She turned to that side and saw deva.

Deva : You can't tell such words to your child Aarathi. 

Aarathi : wow ! Here comes your uncle baby ! He is here to defend his best friend again.
