Most Peculiar (Enoch O'Connor x Reader)

Chapter 16- See You Soon

Emma, Enoch, and Y/n walked out of the ride as they heard the birds chirping around them and the skies clear instead of snow. Y/n smiles sadly at Emma as Enoch leads her towards the ship. "Come on, guys. Let's go." Millard says to the couple as he runs towards the ship's entrance.

"Careful, Millard. I don't want you to fall and hurt yourself!" Y/n calls out as Enoch smiles at her and leans in to kiss her. Y/n kisses back and pulls away to make sure everyone gets on the ship. Once, she saw everyone going up the ramp she looked back at Emma and quickly walked up to her. Emma looks up as Y/n walks up to her and pulls her into a hug they both need.

A couple of days later, Jake rides his bike on the familiar roads in Florida and goes up a driveway. Jake gets off his bike and rushes to hug his Grandfather who's waiting by the door. "Tygrysku." Abe calls out as he hugs Jake, never wanting to let go.

They both enter the house and Jake starts telling Abe what happened on his trip to see the children and what had happened to Y/n. "And then we said goodbye and the loop closed. I was so scared that you wouldn't be here. That I'd never see you again." Jake says as tears start to wield up in his eyes.

"I'm safe." Abe resures. He then leans towards the coffee table nearby. "Let me give you your birthday present." He then gives Jake a book.

"Grandpa, my birthday isn't for months." Jake says as he opens the book and finds different types of cash inside.

"For your travels." Abe explains. "Go to her, Jake. You have the map. You can get back to 1943." Abe says.

"No. Even so, they took a boat. I don't know where they are." Jake explains. Abe grins at him as he leans closer.

"But you know where they were." Abe says as he smiles at Jake.

A few hours passed as Emma was on the deck looking out towards the ocean seeing the birds fly around. She didn't notice a familiar boy running across the pier and onto the ship. She turns around to see Jake walking towards her, his hair long, and looking a little bit older than when she last seen him.

"You have no idea how long it took me to get here." Jake says as he tells him about his journey there.

Jake gets off a trailer and starts walking towards a Circle-K in the middle of the desert. He walks in a goes straight to the bathroom in the back of the store.

The closest loop was in the California desert.

Jake was walking down a busy street in Tokyo as the signs were light up due to it being nighttime. Jake approaches a photobooth and enters. The camera takes his picture before disappearing once again.

I used it to get to the Tokyo loop.

Jake stands in line with other men in sailor uniforms as the captain walks between them, making sure they are up to code.

And that led me to the nearest loop back in 1942 where I wound up joining the Navy. Don't ask.

"Then I spent two months in London trying to..." Emma quickly shuts him up by kissing him. Jake is shocked, but reciprocates the kiss back. Emma gently pulls away surprised that someone would go through all that trouble to go back to her. Above them, Miss Peregrine flies keeping an extra eye out for them.

In the Helm. all the children are making sure the boat is ready to sail as Y/n stands by the wheel looking down at her watch. "Right on time." She softly says as she pockets the watch away. Enoch walks behind her as he wraps an arm around her waist and she looks up at him with a smile. She then looks to Fiona and gives her a nod.

"Ready for full speed ahead!" Fiona yells out as she pulls on a lever that makes the ship start moving. 

Miss. Peregrine flies around the ship till she lands on the tower, transforming back to her human form. She rubs her injury as she smiles at the ship sailing away, proud of what they did. She then transforms back to her bird form and follows the ship to the horizon.

And there you have it, another fanfic done. This one is my longest yet so I do hope you enjoy. I know that I haven't uploaded for a lifetime, but I want to thank each and every last one of you who wait and wait and wait for me to upload, so thank you.
