Poddar Mansion

Just as Armaan was about to leave, the door to the front door opened and in walked, Madhav, who was in a light blue hospital gown.

The family looked stunned to see him like that.

His forehead was wrapped in a bandage, cuts and bruises on his arm and the slight limp as he walked.

The only question running through the family's mind was what had happened?

Madhav, who had just started taking a few steps towards the family, started swaying a little, almost as if he was about to lose his consciousness.

This brought the family out of their stupor and they rushed towards him.

Armaan who was standing the closest to Madhav, broke the fall.

Kaveri immediately instructed Krish to call the doctor but Manoj suggested that it would be better to take Madhav to the hospitals

And so Armaan, Manoj and Krish helped put Madhav in the backseat of the car.

Vidya sat right next to Madhav while Manoj was in the passengers seat and Armaan was driving.

They rushed to the hospital, not caring about the traffic rules that they were breaking.

The remaining family was right behind them in the other car.

As soon as they reached, Madhav was taken into emergency and the doctors rushed to give him an overall checkup.

The family stood worried.
Vidya was crying, Manisha-Manoj, Armaan and the chorus gang was trying to console her.
Dadisaa was standing on the other side with Kajal and Sanjay right next to her looking worried.

Vidya hadn't allowed Kaveri to touch her when she tried to console her. The situation was dire but the tension between the two was still very palpable.

The family had been divided into two parts and Kaveri could see the gap widening.

The doctor walked out after around 15 minutes asked the family about the cause of bruises to get a basic idea about the medical history of the patient.

The doctor said,
" Koi accident hua tha unka? It seems like it but I need you to elaborate a little.
The injuries seem to be a few days old but the patient seems to be on the way to recovery so he has received the proper treatment. 
Just in case, agar mujhe cause pata hoga what happened then  I'll know where to look in case of internal injuries or bleeding.
Rest assured this is just precautionary and most likely, he fainted due to exhaustion, considering that he's still recovering and should have been on complete bed rest which I think he didn't follow."

The family who had been unaware of Madhav's whereabouts or what had happened, just keep looking at one another and Vidya cried harder on realising that while she was celebrating her son's wedding, her husband was probably fighting a battle between life and death.

Finally Kaveri replied, " Humein nahi pata doctor. Madhav kuch dinon se ghar nahi tha and today when he came home he was already in this condition."

The nurse standing right next to the doctor said, " Apka beta itne dinon tak ghar nahi tha and aapne poocha bhi nahi unke baare mein."

Kaveri turned red in the face.

On the stern glare from the doctor and the other nurses, she was reminded to be professional and not comment on the personal family matters.
