Why would he do that, though? Now I owe him even more. I feel like I need to repay him somehow.
I just ate it since it would be a waste if I didn’t. I’ll just thank him later if our paths cross again.
To make myself entertain while eating, kinuha ko ang libro ko sa bag at nagpatuloy sa pagbabasa. It is still Red, White & Royal Blue. 'Di ko kasi matapos-tapos basahin dahil sa hectic ng schedule ko.
It took me around 30 minutes to finish eating. I was so full since the food was really delicious. I wonder where he bought it. I’d love to eat it again.
I rarely get to eat different kinds of Filipino food. I mostly eat fast food and eggs. And when I do go to a local eatery, I always buy adobo because that’s the only dish I’m familiar with. The rest, not so much.
I'm half American and half Filipino but I never really had the chance to try different Filipino foods. Maarte kasi ako sa pagkain.
I was born and raised in the US, and so the American culture is what I'm familiar with. However, my mom always brought me to the Philippines when I was still little, and she's the one who taught me how to speak Filipino and introduced me to their cultures such as their foods. That's why I'm familiar with dishes like adobo, lumpia, pancit, etc. As for the rest, I have no clue.
I started walking pabalik sa building ko. I still have my afternoon classes at major subjects ang mga iyon kaya 'di pwedeng umabsent.
While walking pabalik, bigla kong nakita si Kharl 'di kalayuan sa akin at may kausap siyang isang babae.
Bigla na lang siyang tumingin sa direksiyon ko and we made an eye contact with each other. Kaagad akong napaiwas ng tingin at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.
Nahuli niya ba akong tinitingnan siya? Sana hindi.
Fast forward, and it's already 3:00 in the afternoon. We were supposed to have another class from 3:00-5:00, but one of my classmates said our professor wasn't coming because of an urgent meeting.
So, in the end, all of my classmates went home. As for me, since I had nothing else to do because I finished my plate yesterday, I decided to explore the campus a bit since I’m still not too familiar with its layout.
This university is really huge. It’s probably about three-quarters the size of my old school. My previous school was already big, and this one is only slightly smaller, but still big enough to get lost in.
To be honest, I’m not even sure why I ended up going to this university. It was completely my dad’s decision, not mine.
If only I had been given the chance to choose, I probably would’ve picked the school I went to when I was a kid.
Or maybe I’ve never actually been there, and it was all just my imagination. But that imagination feels so real.
I had a dream once and it looks surreal. I think I've been there before.
I think I had a lot of memories there.
The problem is...
I can't remember the name of the school or where it is...
...and I can't remember what the memories were.
There's just something in my head that's been telling me to go there. I feel like I have a strong connection to that place, and I don't even know why.
Anyway, it took me almost an hour to walk around the entire campus. I got tired from all the walking, so I sat on one of the benches facing a room.
While resting, I suddenly got curious about the room in front of me. It was closed, but the window was slightly ajar.
