"Yeshua, aren't you excited? You're going to take summer classes in the Philippines! Académie Royale de Davao! I'm sure you're going to find a lot of friends in there!"

"Hello everyone. My name is Yeshua F. de Mevius. I am 4 years old. I came from U.S.A. and I am here to take up summer classes with you all. I hope we can be friends!"

Why am I hearing these things? Why did I suddenly remember these scenes that I never thought I'd experience in the first place?

Sobrang sakit ng ulo ko and I can't barely even think anymore. Sobrang naguguluhan ako. What is happening?

I look at the book I was holding. It was Kharl's and I couldn't take my eyes of it. My heart is beating so fast.

"P-pwede po bang magtanong?" I asked the random stranger beside me.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Alam niyo po ba ang school na Académie Royale de Davao?"

"Ay, tourist lang po ako rito kuya, hehe. You can ask that person po, baka alam niya. Siya kasi 'yung tour guide namin rito," she said while pointing to the mid-60s man sitting on a stool drinking a beer in a resto bar.

"S-salamat po."

I immediately walk towards the old man. He's talking to the bartender while the bartender is busy making some cocktails for the customers.

"G-good afternoon po," I greeted.

Kaagad silang napatigil sa pag-uusap and they both looked at me.

"Magandang hapon rin iho. Ano ang maitutulong ko sa iyo?" the old man answered.

"P-pwede po bang magtanong?"

"Pwede. Ano ba iyon?"

"Alam niyo po ba ang school na Académie Royale de Davao?"

Biglang kumunot 'yung noo ng matanda at ng bartender sa tinanong ko.

Did I ask something wrong?

"Paano mo naman nalaman 'yang paaralan na 'yan?"

"D-dito po," sabi ko sabay ipinakita sa kanya ang libro na hawak-hawak ko.

"Naku iho, matagal nang wala 'yang paaralan na 'yan. Ayon sa balita, nasunog raw kasi 'yan noon kaya ipinasara nalang ng may-ari."

"S-saan ko po siya matatagpuan?"

"Bakit iho, pupuntahan mo? Naku, ipinagbabawal ng mga pulis ang pumunta roon, sobrang delikado kasi. At tsaka, may malalaking harang na pader ang nakapalibot doon kaya 'di mo rin makikita ang loob."

"Malapit lang po ba 'yan rito?"

"Actually, diyan lang sa likod ng resort. Dadaan ka muna sa masukal na gubat bago ka makarating diyan," sagot ng bartender.

Flashback...

"M-mom, I'm s-scared."

"It's okay, honey. This is just the forest part of the school but when we actually get there, trust me, you'll going to love it."

"W-why do I have to take classes there?"

"You'll understand when you grow up. For now, just trust mommy, okay? You'll be safe here, Yeshua."
