"Submission of your plates will be on Monday. No extension since 1 week ang binigay ko na time frame sa inyo. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Ma'am!" we said in unison.

"Alright then. Class dismiss," the professor said at lumabas na.

I looked at the paper bag I was holding, which had food inside. For the past few days, I have been receiving free lunch in a paper bag. And I didn't even know where it was coming from.

I thought it was just a one-time thing when I was given food. I was surprised to find out that someone gave me food again last Wednesday morning. It was just placed on the armrest of my chair, and when I arrived in the classroom, the paper bag with food was already there.

And it kept happening.

It's Friday now, and tomorrow is our training. I still don't know where this is coming from. Sometimes I wonder if it's from the same person or not.

Or maybe it's really from Kharl, and he just doesn't want to admit it to me since he hates me.

Well, I started to wonder as well. If he really hates me, he could've just left me unconscious nung Monday but he didn't, instead, dinala niya pa ako sa ospital. And to top of that, pinatulog niya pa ako sa bahay nila.

He's a good person that's for sure, but annoying. Kasalanan ko naman kung bakit ganyan 'yung pakikitungo niya sa'kin eh. I should've been grateful nalang dapat since he helped me noong 1st day palang.

Sigh.

Anyway, tumayo na ako at kinuha ang bag ko. Lilipat kami ng classroom for our next subject at sa ibabang floor iyon.

While walking down the stairs, I didn't notice that I was actually with Fenrir, one of my classmates. If he hadn't said hi to me, I wouldn't have noticed him.

And yes, I've already figured out his name and made sure I won't forget it.

"'Di ka ba talaga sasali? We're filing a Cetificate of Candidacy later. Kulang talaga kami ng isa."

I shake my head. I'm really not interested in politics anymore because I've been there before, and it always creates so much chaos. It even gets to the point where there's backstabbing between rival parties. And I hate that.

"Sayang talaga kasi gustong-gusto ka pa naman namin na kunin. Even Kharl, he wants you to be part of his party."

Eh? Parang noong Sunday lang, ayaw niyang makasama ako sa party niya ah? Napilitan lang daw siya.

Ngumiti lang ako sa kanya as a form of response.

"But if you change your mind---"

"S-sorry, I won't," I said at binilisan ang paglalakad.

I entered our classroom and sat on my chair. I took my AirPods out and listened to music. We still had 15 minutes to spare before our next subject, so I crossed my arms and rested them on the armchair. I placed my head on top and closed my eyes.

I stayed like that until I didn't realize that more than 15 minutes had passed. The music just ended, so I got the chance to hear the outside noise, and I noticed that the surroundings were extremely quiet.

I opened my eyes and looked ahead. I was shocked by what I saw.

What is he doing here?

And where are my classmates?

I took off my AirPods and put them in their case.

"Shouldn't you be at the auditorium?" he asked.
