Rewrite The Stars - {Severus Snape x Reader}

Finally, the night came over Wizarding World, and the whole castle got quiet and dimment its lights all around Hogwarts. Everyone is asleep in my dorm. Snoring away. With careful, slow moves, I push the blanket to aside and got up from the warm bed. I slip my shoes on and toss a dark brown hoodie over the white top. I have bras underneath since I already knew I would be wandering off as soon as the others has fallen in deep sleep. Didn't care to change the long, light grey flannel pyjama pants and sneaked out of the Common Room. "Lumos." I whispered under my breath when I got to the dark area of the castle. A tiny light appears at the end of my wand, and I began to walk along the basement, towards the stairs that will lead to the Central Hall. To think Hufflepuff's Common Room is in a basement, and yet, I've never been scared of it - compared to the dungeons where Slytherin's Common Room is... Still through out the years, I haven't been able to figure out where it is there. And as I might have mentioned earlier; I don't even want to know.

After seeing how empty and echoey the castle really is when no one is around makes me quite nervous. I've never done anything like this before. But... I promised to bring the book to Lockhart, and he promised he'll help me get better grades, so I think it'll be fine. I just need to be careful and not get caught. When I get to the above the stairs, I put down the Lumos and get a good view from the balcony to the Central Hall, that unfortunatelly have couple Prefects making sure someone like me wouldn't be out of their bed. Damn it. I need to get pass them. Good thing we learned the Disillusionment Charm last year. But I need to be careful. It only works certain amount of time, and I can't get in touch with anyone. Otherwise, the spell breaks and they'll see me.

With that in mind, I cast the spell on me and sneaked into the library without anyone seeing me. As I enter the Library, I get filled with this calmness and satisfaction. When I made sure the coast was clear, I swift my wand and come back to visible. I did it! I got all the way here without a fuss! I take a moment to look around the place from where I'm standing. It all looks... So big. So quiet. So... Majestic. This little smile raises upon my lips and with tiny - happy skips, I get to the other side of the library, to the entry of the Restricted Section. "Alohomora." I gently tap the wand on the lock and it pops open. Quickly, I squeeze myself through the gates, close them and began to walk the familiar long hallway with tiny light at the end of the wand. Let's see... Ninth shelf, third row. Or... Was it sixth? I stop and start thinking. Nine? No. Six. ...Six? Nine? Sixty-nine? Heheheh...

My thoughts gets cut off when I hear this distant noise. Huh?! Immediately, my heart misses a beat and I flinch. What was that? Little bit stressed, I started to look around from where I'm standing. Nothing. Guess I was just imagining things... After realizing that, my heart calms down and I continue on searching. But just in case, I cover the light that is coming from the wand partly under the palm. Like you would do to a candle that you try to keep alive. Okay, okay, (Y/N). Focus. I ended up going to the sixth shelf, and Merlin behold - the Secrets of the Darkest Art is in there! Third row. Brilliant! My eyes sparkles as I get the book down. Good grades, here I come! When all of sudden;"Damn it, Pete! Watch your step! Otherwise, you're gonna get us in trouble, if you keep stomping on my leg." a voice whisper hissed further away. Huh?! Right away, my head snaps towards the voices and I Nox the light from the wand.

The sound of the gates to the Restricted Section shrieks and I hear how pair of footsteps starts slowly walking along the long aisle. "Huh, why, won't you look at that... The librarian has left the gate open for us. How thoughtful." familiar voice hums pleased. Wait, but I didn't leave..- That's Sirius Black! "Focus. We got not much time. Filch was just lurking at the Central Hall a minute ago. And who knows where his bloody cat is." another familiar voice whispers, sounding irritated. James Potter. What are they doing in here?! Really quickly, it became clear to me that James, Sirius and Peter has entered this side of the library with me. And they are not here just for the fun of breaking the school rules. No. They are actually looking for something. But what?
