It was now the second day of the class trip exercises, and you and Bakugou had decided to stick together as partners. Despite the option to switch partners, neither of you wanted to. You knew how well you worked together, even if Bakugou wouldn't admit it outright.

"Ready for this?" you asked, rolling your shoulders as you stood at the entrance of a large cave.

"Tch, like you need to ask," Bakugou muttered, a confident smirk playing on his lips as he cracked his knuckles. His crimson eyes burned with determination, as they always did.

This particular challenge required you both to navigate through the cave, fight off simulated villains, and rescue a 'hostage' deep within. The air was cool and damp, with the faint echo of water dripping from the cave walls. It should've been easy enough, but the unpredictability of these exercises always kept you on your toes.

You entered the cave, your footsteps echoing off the stone walls. Bakugou was just ahead of you, explosions sparking from his palms as a source of light.

The villains came quickly, just as you expected. You used your quirk to disorient them with sound waves, while Bakugou blasted through with his usual explosive flair. You couldn't help but admire how fluidly he moved in battle, his attacks powerful and precise.

After dispatching the last of the villains, you and Bakugou exchanged a glance, satisfied with your teamwork.

"That was too easy," he said, almost as if challenging the universe to make things harder.

And as if on cue, the ground beneath you rumbled. Rocks and dust fell from above, and before either of you could react, the walls began to collapse around you.

"Shit!" Bakugou cursed, grabbing your wrist and pulling you to the side as a large boulder crashed down where you had just been standing.

When the dust settled, you realized the entrance was completely sealed off.

You were trapped.

Bakugou cursed under his breath again, scanning the blocked path. "Great. Just fucking great."

You winced as you tried to shift the rocks with your quirk, but it was no use. The air was already starting to feel thinner, "We're stuck."

Bakugou glared at the rocks in frustration. "We can blast our way out."

But before either of you could act, you remembered something. "Wait, the hostage! We can't leave without them."

He cursed under his breath, clearly annoyed, but nodded. "Fine. Let's find them first."

You both ventured deeper into the cave, your footsteps echoing off the stone walls. It wasn't long before you found the hostage, a training dummy positioned at the back of the cave. You exchanged a quick glance with Bakugou, and without another word, you grabbed the dummy, ready to make your way back.

"Now we get out of here," Bakugou said, his voice firm.

The air was already feeling thinner, and you knew you didn't have much time. Bakugou led the way, his hands sparking as he prepared to blast through the rocks blocking your exit. With a roar, he let off an explosion, shattering the boulders and creating a narrow opening just big enough for the two of you to slip through.

"We did it!" you grinned, relieved as fresh air hit your face.

Bakugou grinned back, but the moment was short-lived. "Come on, we still need to get the hostage out."

You both hurried back into the cave, carefully navigating the remaining rubble to grab the dummy. Working together, you managed to carry the "hostage" out of the cave and to safety. Once outside, you both collapsed onto the ground, exhausted but triumphant.

"That wasn't so bad," you panted, leaning against a nearby tree.

Bakugou snorted, glancing at you with a smirk. "Could've done it faster if you weren't slowing me down."

"Oh, please," you shot back with a playful roll of your eyes. "If anything, I was the one keeping you focused."

He gave a small chuckle, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Just as the adrenaline began to wear off, a silence settled between you. The two of you sat there, side by side, catching your breath. You glanced at Bakugou, your heart still racing, not just from the exercise, but from the proximity, the quiet intimacy of the moment.

Before you could think it through, you leaned in, pressing your lips to his.

For a second, Bakugou froze, caught off guard by your sudden move. But then, with a growl of approval, he responded, his hand sliding to the back of your neck as he pulled you closer. His lips were warm, his kiss intense, as if he'd been holding back for too long. You could feel the raw energy between you, the passion that had been simmering for months finally spilling over.

His other hand gripped your waist, pulling you onto his lap as the kiss deepened. You clung to him, your body pressed tightly against his as you lost yourself in the moment. It was heated, intense, and filled with the kind of emotion you'd both been avoiding for far too long.

When you finally pulled away, breathless, his crimson eyes met yours, and for a second, you saw something vulnerable in his gaze, something he didn't often show.

"Katsuki," you whispered, your heart still racing in your chest.

He smirked, though his voice was softer than usual. "What? Finally realizing how much you want me?"

You rolled your eyes, though you couldn't hide the blush creeping up your cheeks. "Shut up."

Bakugou grinned, leaning in for one last kiss, but before things could escalate again, he pulled back slightly, his expression serious.

"We should... we should cool it. We've got the whole class waiting."

You nodded, both of you still catching your breath. The intensity of the moment had left your mind spinning, but as you sat there with him, you couldn't help but feel that something had changed between you.

"You're right," you said, finally standing up and brushing off your clothes. "Let's head back."

Bakugou stood up beside you, casting one last glance at the cave before grabbing your hand. Without a word, he led the way back to the rest of the group, both of you silently knowing that from now on, things were going to be a little different.
