well this is gonna be one hell of a ride.

The day had started like any other, but there was a buzz of excitement in the air as Class 2-A geared up for hero patrol assignments. You were looking forward to the chance to practice your skills outside of U.A., but there was one thing you needed to make clear first.
"Katsuki, you have to come with me," you insisted, looking at Bakugou with determination in your eyes.
He crossed his arms, his usual scowl firmly in place. "Tch. You think you need me to hold your hand? You're strong enough to handle this on your own."
"But what if something happens?" you pressed, your brow furrowing. "I want to be safe, and I'd feel better with you there."
Bakugou hesitated, but the stubbornness in his expression didn't fade. "You can't just rely on me all the time. You need to learn to stand on your own two feet. You'll be fine!"
With a heavy heart, you accepted his refusal. You'd always admired Bakugou's confidence, but sometimes it felt like he didn't believe in you as much as you believed in yourself. "Fine, but I'll text you when I'm done," you said, trying to mask your unease.
He huffed in response. "Whatever. Just don't get yourself into trouble."
As you set out on your patrol, the streets were busier than you anticipated, but nothing felt out of the ordinary. The streets were busy as you patrolled, the vibrant life of the city buzzing around you. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, and you felt confident as you navigated the streets, checking in on shops and chatting with civilians.
However, as the sun dipped lower in the sky, the atmosphere shifted. A chill crept in, and you found yourself walking past a dimly lit alleyway.
That was until you took a shortcut through the alleyway, and everything changed.
Before you could react, a figure emerged from the shadows, grabbing you and pulling you into the darkness. You fought back, using all your training, but your assailant was surprisingly strong. Panic surged through you as you struggled, but it was no use. The world around you faded as you were forcibly taken away.

Time passed, and now it was late afternoon. Bakugou lounged in the common room with his classmates, glancing at the clock every few minutes. He furrowed his brows, the nagging feeling in his gut growing stronger with each passing hour. You should have been back by now.
"Hey, where's Y/N?" Kirishima asked, his voice breaking the silence. "She was supposed to be back from patrol a while ago, right?"
"Yeah," Bakugou muttered, grabbing his phone. "I'll call her." He dialed your number, but it went straight to voicemail. A frown deepened on his face. "Tch, she probably just forgot to charge her phone or something."
But as the sun began to set, his concern shifted into something heavier. When it was 8 PM, Bakugou's restlessness had turned into outright anxiety. His usual bravado faltered as he glanced around the common room. "Something's not right," he finally admitted, standing up.
The atmosphere in the room shifted as everyone grew tense, glancing at each other. "Should we go look for her?" Momo suggested, her voice shaky.
Just then, the TV flickered to life, capturing everyone's attention. The news anchor's somber tone sent chills down Bakugou's spine. "Breaking news: A student from U.A. has gone missing. Authorities are currently investigating an incident in the city where a bracelet was discovered in an alleyway..."
