49 years of being alive and helping others hasn't gotten Sora anywhere to find his memories or family, if they're even alive. But one day, he discovers something that was caused by a creature who unbeknownst to him is almost similar to him.

It was the next morning when I finally reached my destination. My lightning began to dissipate from my arms when I reached a small town in Montana. I raised my shoes for a stop to see why my lightning turned off. I tried pointing my hands in different directions to see if my rings would respond to the energy, but no. They didn't. Whatever or whoever created this energy must have happened within this town. It was time to investigate. While searching, I found what seemed to be a military camp in a baseball field. "Could they have started it?" I thought to myself.
Wait, no, they could be here to investigate it. While observing in a tree, a giant black truck with a red eye-like dot at the top of the truck drove into the camp with other cars following it. It looked like heavy advanced tech with the weird eye-like thing on it. Somebody then stepped out of the truck with other people following him. I knew exactly who the person was that came out of the truck.

Doctor Ivo Robotnik. A brilliant scientist. Well, as crazy and insane as he is brilliant. A bit of a nut job. And someone I'm not too fond of. I've seen him before during a few incidents he was tasked to while I was helping and stopping others in the same areas he would be at. But he made me feel like he reminded me of someone. I'm not sure why though. The government must've sent him to take control of the investigation of the shock-wave. Knowing Robotnik, he would want whatever caused it, and that could get people hurt, both innocent and non innocent.
He then sent out soldiers and his weird looking drones to search the area. They must've found a clue. It was time for me to search too. While looking and avoiding drones and soldiers and their dogs, I saw something, a blue blur heading in a different direction. Away from the soldiers and drones. It looked like my streak I made when skating. "What?" said quietly to avoid unwanted attention. Thankfully know one saw it go by. I decided to go the direction the streak was going to see if I could figure out what made it. Heading in the direction it was going led me to a house. Suddenly, I heard a voice coming from the garage. I had to use chaos snap to hide real quick because a human male with what looked like a tranq gun came out the backdoor.
When he left, I heard screaming coming from the garage, quickly peeking inside, what do I find... a hedgehog... like me, but different. He looked around the same age as I am but a little younger, and shorter. With the top of his head looking like it was able to pass my shoulder. And he was holding a tiny ring in his right hand. I was shocked. There's another creature like me here on Earth? Is he from my past? How long has he been here? Could there be more of us? So many questions filled my head with the biggest shocked face I had in a while.
While those were spiraling in my head, the human shot his leg with the tranq gun. "Ooww" he said painfully. When he looked at the human's shirt, he read out loud sleepily, "San... Francisco?" He then dropped the ring, and all of a sudden, it grew bigger and created a portal above the Transamerica Building. He tried walking but then collapsed, dropping his bag in the portal that was closing. Fully closed, the hedgehog was then fully asleep with the human in shock. "W-what?" he stuttered.
He then picked up the hedgehog and brought him inside the house, causing me to teleport up the roof in order to not be seen. i just sat on the roof, astonished by what i just seen: another hedgehog like like me and rings that turn into portals. I couldn't look through the windows or go inside the house thinking it could get me caught, so I decided to stay on the roof just in case.
