"Oh god no, not him" Agent Max muttered, his expression shifting from concern to outright annoyance as he took a step back, his posture tense.
Dr. Bright quickly shut the door behind her, glancing around as if searching for a safe spot. "Shh, don't you dare tell them I'm here!" she hissed, walking toward me and crouching down to hide under my bed.
What did Dr. Bright do this time?
Dr. Light shot her an annoyed look. "What did you get yourself into now, Dr. Bright?" she asked, her tone laced with exasperation. "You can't just barge in here and hide like a criminal!"
"I literally have a bounty on my head right now!" Dr. Bright exclaimed her voice barely a whisper but filled with a mix of panic and irritation.
Dr. Light folded his arms, leaning against the wall with an unimpressed expression. "You always manage to find trouble, don't you? What did you do this time? Open another anomaly without clearance?"
I have a gut, it's about the so-called 'plan'.
Dr. Bright peeked out from under the bed, her eyes wide and wild. "How did you know I was the one who caused the containment breach?!" she demanded, her voice rising slightly. "I thought I covered my tracks!"
Oh, so dr. Bright is the one that caused the containment breach, so that's his/her plan, isn't it?
Dr. Light pinched the bridge of her nose, clearly exasperated. "You're a walking disaster, Bright. You always leave a trail behind you, like breadcrumbs. And now that you've shown up, we need to figure out how to clean this mess up before someone notices you're here."
Max shifted his weight, his arms still crossed. "You know they're probably already looking for you. You can't just waltz in and out of containment like it's a playground."
"Look, I didn't mean for it to happen!" Dr. Bright protested, crawling out from under the bed and brushing herself off. "I was just..." he paused "experimenting! And one thing led to another, and now I have a bunch of angry containment teams after me!"
"Your 'experiments' are what got you into this mess," Dr. Light snapped, her patience wearing thin. "You need to be more careful. People's lives are at stake, not just your own!"
