Most of the O5 Council
sat in a dimly lit room, their faces shadowed by the faint glow of monitors lining the walls. Each of them had their own theories, suspicions, and concerns, yet none dared speak.

Finally, one of the Overseers rose, breaking the silence. "I O5-2, gathered you all here to discuss the... disturbing incidents that have been occurring within the Foundation as of late, on behalf of O5-1," O5-2 announced, their voice steady, though a trace of unease slipped into their tone.

O5-█ leaned back, eyes narrowing. "Is this about the anomalies Dr. Bright, D-24680, and Agent Max encountered during the last containment breach?"

O5-2 gave a curt nod. "Precisely. Each of them has witnessed events that defy our protocols and expectations. Ever since Dr. Clef and Dr. Glass first reported anomalies involving D-24680, things have been... glitching," O5-2 paused, choosing the word carefully. "In his recent report, Dr. Glass noted unusual behavior with SCP-963. During its body transfer process, there has been an unexplained delay..."

A murmur rippled through the room as the Overseers processed this. O5-█ leaned forward, expression sharp. "A delay in SCP-963's transfer? When did this all start?"

O5-2 shifted slightly, a shadow of unease crossing their face. "The delay was first noted shortly after the containment breach and his 'death' when meeting a glitching scp-049. Dr. Glass observed that instead of the usual instantaneous transfer, there was a lag-a few minutes..."

The room fell silent as the Overseers processed this. O5-█ leaned forward, frowning. "A delay in SCP-963's transfer... this is unprecedented. No matter the situation, it's always been instantaneous. And it was caused by 'glitching' scp-049?"

Then another O5 spoke up, O5-█ cleared their throat, adding to the unsettling atmosphere. "It's not just SCP-049. Dr. Light has reported something equally disturbing: Agent Max has said that he observed SCP-106 and SCP-682 glitching- During one of these incidents, Agent Max also witnessed D-24680's death... only for them to reappear, alive and unharmed, an hour later."

A murmur spread through the Council, but another O5 quickly interjected, breaking the silence. "Wait. Didn't Dr. Light mention that, when reviewing the surveillance footage, there was no record of these glitches with SCP-106 or SCP-682? And that D-24680 appears completely fine in every frame until they pass out?"

O5-2's expression grew darker, tension tightening their voice. "Yes. According to Dr. Light, there's no evidence in the footage to support Agent Max's account. But now, Dr. Bright has also come forward, claiming to have witnessed SCP-049 glitching in a similar manner alongside with D-24680. Dr. Glass has also witnessed D-24680 'resurrection' with Dr. Clef."
