(Y/n)’s POV

I slam open the door to Wu's room and glare angrily at him as I see that he was pacing back and forth.

He sighs, “(Y/n)-”

“No! No excuses!” I snap, “I…I don't even know where to start with you!”

“(Y/n), wait!” Lloyd exclaims as he and the other ninja enter the room, “Give him a chance to explain.”

“Explain what exactly? That he's the Deceiver?” I ask sarcastically, “Geez, I had no idea.”

“She's got a point, Lloyd. There's no excuse for this.” Kai states before narrowing his eyes at Wu, “You broke your own father's law, snuck into the land of Serpentine, and nearly started a war.”

“It-It wasn't quite that—” Wu tries to explain.

“And you befriended a snake and thought it would be a good idea to teach her Spinjitzu?” Cole adds.

“Well, it was a complicated—” Wu says.

“And then you stole a dangerous scroll from your father, the First Spinjitzu Master, and broke the law again to defeat her?” Pixal finishes and we all stare at him disapprovingly.

“Yes, okay! Yes! I admit it all. What can I say? I was young, and reckless, and-and…” Wu sighs, “...foolish. I never thought to hear the name Aspheera again. I thought all of this was in the past.”

The ground suddenly shakes and we all yelp in surprise.

“What was that?” Skylor asks.

“The past…” I state before glaring at Wu, “Catching up to us.”

We all rush outside and climb on top of the front wall to see Aspheera and her army approaching the Monastery.

“Look out!” Cole shouts as fire balls are shot at the Monastery, forcing us to dodge, “Things aren't looking too well for us.”

“At least they aren't attacking the city anymore.” Jay says, earning a punch in the shoulder from Cole.

I groan and glare at Wu, “Would it have been so hard to tell us about Aspheera beforehand?! You always, and I mean always, wait until the last minute! What happened to, ‘Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today’?!”

“We're your students. It's not fair that we have to keep cleaning up your messes.” Kai adds.

“I made a mistake. I never thought this would come back to haunt me.” Wu tells us before we dodge another fireball.

“You…you…! UGH!” I groan, deciding to stop talking as I feel my Oni powers stir up.

“Get down!” B.K exclaims as another fireball is shot at the Monastery and we jump off the wall to take cover inside.

Cole turns to Wu, “You said your father created two Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu, correct?” He asks.

“Yes. We used them to defeat Aspheera, which made my father very angry. He hid them from us.” Wu tells him.

“Hid—” Cole starts before another fireball hits, “Hid them where?”

“I don't know.” Wu says.

“I do.” Skales Jr states, “And I already have it covered.”

Harumi looks at him surprised, “How-?”

“I'm heir to the throne, Rumi. Which means Serpentine history lessons are no joke.” He states, “As soon as I saw Aspheera, and she foolishly revealed what she was after, I had a few friends go retrieve the other scroll.”
