(Y/n)’s POV

We all continue to work on the new mech. A process that would've been fun if it weren't for the constant sound of Aspheera trying to ram her way into the hanger bay.

“Revenge!” I hear her shout and a shudder runs down my spine as I'm reminded of bad memories.

“Master Wu?” Kai asks as he looks down at Wu from the mech.

“That was the sound of hatred and anger, so much anger.” Uncle Wu says a bit fearfully.

Kai and I look at each other and I gesture down to Wu. He nods and jumps down to join Wu, “We won't let her get you, Master.” He assures him.

“Yeah, she'll have to go through us first.” Cole declares.

“Affirmative.” Pixal agrees.

“Mini Skales.” I state, looking over to the Hypnobrai.

“Skales Jr.” He corrects with a light glare.

I smirk, “Uh-huh. Anyway, when are your buddies getting here with the scroll?”

“Well, they should've contacted me a while ago, so…” He trails off and I grow worried before hearing a bell chime from him, “Oh, that must be them!”

He takes out a tablet and I chuckle at the Fangpyre-turned tech.

“About time! What took you so long?!” He demands, shaking the tablet a bit.

“Sorry, your highness, we had some…issues.” Rattla says.

“Issues or not, do you have the second scroll?” Skales Jr questions.

“Ah, yes! We have it and we are on our way.” Rattla replies.

“They have the scroll!” I exclaim and grin down at the others.

“Yeah!” Jay and Cole cheer.

“About time.” Kai says as he high fives Morro.

“Hey, better late than never, right?” Seliel asks as she and Skylor hug.

“That is most welcome news.” Pixal states.

“Be careful with that scroll, you three. It's really dangerous.” I tell the three Serpentine as I look into the video.

“Ah, it's the purple ninja!” Lasha says, “Oh, can I meet the Phantom Ninja, I'm her biggest fan, I-”

Rattla covers Lasha's mouth as he continues to look at the camera, “We'll be careful.”

Another blast is heard from the door, the dent in it getting bigger.

“What was that sound?” Snike questions.

“A nuisance.” Skales Jr hisses, “We're running out of time here. You have to hurry, Rattla.”

“Okay, just hold on, your highness! We're on our way!” Rattla declares before turning off the video.

Another blast is heard and I frown, “Things aren't looking too good.” I say.

“Don't say that.” Morro states as he places a hand on my shoulder, “Let's finish the mech and then we'll have an advantage. Ninja never quit.”

“Yeah. Let's do this.” I declare with determination.

Rattla's POV

“Stop fooling around, you two! Everyone is counting on us!” I snap.

“Calm down, Rattla. This thing is already at its top speed.” Snike states, gesturing to the bus we borrowed as he drives.

“Yeah, and once we get there, we can help kick Aspheera's tail!” Lasha exclaims as he swings the staff around, “Oh, I wish I had elemental powers. I bet it'd look so cool fighting with this thing!”
