I'm Not a Goddess. (Lookism x Lim Jugyeong Reader)

Areum sighed in exhaustion and she fumbled with her keys to unlock her house. When she entered she saw that her two brothers were clipping each others toenails while saying "I love you" to each other as their mom and dad watched, so they must've fought again.

But Areum decided to just go up to her room so she could finally take off her makeup and relax.

"The hell...?"

When Areum got to her room she saw that her vanity was pretty messy and not like how she left it that morning! Not only that but her micellar water bottle was completely empty! But there was only one person who could've done it... her sister. She was always drinking at company parties and could never hold her liquor. That being said when Areum went to go confront Suae in her room, she was completely knocked out.

"God fucking damn it... not only did she drink it, she's also conked out..." Areum thought as she stared at her sister.

But since she was sleeping... and that she drank all her water... it gave Areum an idea. That's how Areum ended up stealing Suae's wallet and heading towards the convenience store to get some more water.

Surprisingly, when she got to the convenience she saw that the cashier wasn't that girl with the short black hair anymore, and instead was an overweight short guy with glasses.

"We- welcome!" The cashier finally said after seemingly staring into space for a few seconds, directly at Areum.

Areum nodded in response before heading towards the beauty section to pick up some micellar water.

"Should I buy something for Suae? I can't be totally evil after all. I did steal her wallet..." Areum thought to herself before decided to pick up some snacks for the both of them and some hangover medicine for her sister.

"This'll be good, right?"  Areum thought. While looking at the snacks she started thinking of all the times she had to pick up snacks and hangover medicine for Taehoon, whilst walking over to the store clerk. Honestly, Areum was just kind of glad that there was a new guy since whenever the manager took over some shifts, he would keep asking her if she wanted to work there.

As the cashier started to scan her items, Areum couldn't help but notice that he looked a little injured. A busted lip that looked like it was already starting to heal and some bruises that looked a few days old.

"Hey... are you okay?" Areum asked.

"A-ah, yes. I am. Why...?"

"You look a little injured... did you get into a fight or something?"

"N-no, I just fell."

As someone who used to do taekwondo, not being as good as Taehoon, but she and someone with working eyes could tell that he did in fact, not fall. But Areum decided not to point that out.

"Oh, well I hope you get better, and be sure to ice them. Okay...?" Areum said while reading his nametag on his vest, "Daniel?" Which Daniel nodded and bagged her items and let her pay, before she went on her way.

But the next day at school, Daniel was actually pretty chatty with her, why? Areum really didn't know since they barely talked and she was pretty sure that the only reason they ate lunch together last time was because of Zoe. But honestly, Daniel reminded Areum of a little golden retriever. Full of energy which made Areum kind of tired. But she was able to recharge during lunch with Chaerin and Sua.

"You know... as attractive as the transfer is, he's kind of tiring..."

"WHAT?" Sua exclaimed, confused.

"Oh yeah, Daniel keeps talking to her. Maybe he realized just how cute she is." Chaerin said, before taking another bite of her food.

"What'd you do?! Teach me! Please!" Sua begged.

"I- I really didn't do anything!" Areum tried to reason.

"Sua! Eat your food already!" Chaerin scolded, which made Sua pout and pick up her chopsticks and grab a piece of her tteokbokki to eat.

"But I am kind of glad though... it's kind of hard to have friends here since almost everyone is a delinquent." Areum said, looking at her food tray.

"Aren't you also friends with Jay? How'd that happen? He doesn't even speak." Chaerin asked, which made Sua mouth drop since Jay was also attractive.

"I got seated next to him once, and we exchanged numbers when we had to work with the person beside us for an assignment. But he's pretty nice, even if he doesn't talk to me much."

Sua was going to say something to interrupt when Areum said she and Jay exchanged numbers, but Chaerin shoved a piece of kimchi in her mouth. She even had to do it again with some of her tteokbokki when Areum was done talking.

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Fun fact, I wrote myself into a wall. I want to have the love triangle, or maybe more love interests, happen with Suho and Seojun but then I realized I changed Jugyeong and her family to only be inspire Areum and her family, but I kept Chaerin and Sua (and Sujin and bullies later on). But after thinking, I'll change Suho and Seojun to adapt to Lookism so I'll change their names. 

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ But another fun fact; (a lil spoiler) a few chapters ago, Vin Jin said Areum was cute as always. Cause Areum reminds him of Sujin Kim if she was able to grow up with Mary and Vin. Maybe... he'll be a love interest option for Areum...
