"What were you asking Namsoo for, Zack?"

"To get me some kicks off of Craigslist."

"Haven't I helped you use that, like, a million times?" Areum said as she leaned against his desk.

"I can't figure it out!" Zack complained.

"Last in class..." Areum mumbled.

"What?!"

"Nothing, let's go to a café." Areum said. "You pay."

"What? Why?!" Zack exclaimed.

"Cause you owe me! Remember when I helped you with Mira's birthday?"

"Ugh... fine..." Zack got up from his desk. "Let's go."

Areum and Zack had made their way to BugstarBucks and ordered some coffee and pastries. But... Areum was still thinking about that guy Sujin knew.

"Hey Zack?" Areum suddenly spoke up. "Let's say you weren't into Mira..."

"Oh god. Where is this going." Zack said.

"Just shut up and let me finish." Areum glared. "Okay, let's say you weren't into Mira."

"Alright..."

"And let's say you liked... I don't know, me or something. But you don't know me." Areum continued.

"I don't like where this is going..." Zack said.

"Let. Me. Finish."

"Okay, okay."

"Anyway. So you don't know me. And you see that Mira posted a pic of us online togeth-"

"Mira doesn't-" Zack's own interruption, was interrupted by Areum.

"She posts a picture of us. And you see it. So you ask her to introduce me to you. And she's insistent on me meeting you. Who do you think is the problem source here?" Areum asked.

"Where is this even coming fro-"

"Just answer."

Zack sighed.

"I'm just gonna pretend I'm wanting to get introduced to Mira... but I'd say it's the one who's doing the introducing." Zack said after thinking about it. "Why?"

"I... have a new friend. And she's trying to introduce me to a friend. But he's older. And I'm unsure about meeting him. But I agreed anyway." Areum explained.

"Cause you're too damn nice. If you don't want to meet him, then don't. Tell her you changed your mind." Zack told her.

"But-"

"No buts. Tell your friend you changed your mind. And if you're really that scared to tell her, I will." Zack really wasn't messing around. This was pretty much the only personal conversation they had ever since they met each other on the first day of school.

"... he already has my number. He's texted me already. He said he's excited to meet me..." Areum mumbled.

"Hand over your phone then." Zack held up his hand.

"Zack. It'll be fine. I'll just meet him and tell him I'm not interested." Areum said as she pushed his hand away.

"Fine. But after that, if he doesn't leave you alone, hand over your phone." Zack grumbled.

"Alright, alright..."

A few days had gone by. Nothing had happened. But one day, Namsoo... arrived with bruises. Apparently, Namsoo had gotten scammed. And Zack's money had gotten stolen.
