Chapter Twelve

"Because I didn't want to go back in my room. It's freezing."

"Okay."

After he got dressed in a black shirt and light blue jeans, he went out of my room, but not before giving me a light kiss on the lips.

I was stunned. We weren't even dating yet and he kissed me. Again. This is like the third time he kissed me. And I have a feeling it won't be the last.

After getting dress in a white crop top and blue jeans, I went in the kitchen. Jason was at the stove cooking eggs and pancakes. Henry was still in his room and Bianca was in the living room.

"Good morning, sunshine," Jason said.

"You've already seen me this morning, Jason."

"But still, I want to say good morning."

"You're so weird."

"But you like me, don't you?"

"I don't know. It depends on the day."

He pouted. I gave him a big grin.

"You know I like you."

"That's good, because then it's not just one sided. That would be awkward."

Then as soon as has kissed me, Henry decided to bless us with his presence.

"Eww get a room," he said.

"They can't. Mom and Dad won't allow that unless they're married," Bianca said, coming in the kitchen.

"Go in the living room you little brats," I said.

"Why? Because we ruin your make out session?" Henry said, grinning.

"You're so dead," I said as Mom and Dad walked in the kitchen.

"Woah why are you going to kill your brother?" Dad asked.

"Because he won't leave me alone," I stated.

"Oh okay. Carry on," Dad said.

"Liam. That's not how we raised our children," Mom said.

"Amanda, he won't leave her alone. Give her a break," Dad said looking at Mom with pleading eyes.

"No, Kaitlyn don't kill your brother before school starts. You can do it after," Mom said.

"I thought y'all were Christian?" Jason asked.

"We are, it's just you try dealing with three kids that are immature," Mom said.

"Mom. I am not immature. Plus Henry started it," I said.

"See immature," Mom said as to prove her point.

"Mom," I said.

"Yes sweetie?"

"Stop telling stuff."

"It's fine. I heard a lot when we were younger," Jason said. It was true. He heard a lot of stuff when we were younger. When Henry was born I was 12 and Bianca was 2. Jason and Melissa came over to see Henry. Mom and Dad were wanting to name Henry, Leo. Jason and I wanted to name him Henry. Bianca was too young to understand and Melissa was the tie breaker. Melissa loved the name Henry. So Mom and Dad named him Henry Leo McCarthy.

"Yeah," I said, agreeing with him for the first time today.

When we arrived at school, Jason did the unthinkable, he kissed me in front of everyone. I was beyond shocked. So were the people that Jason told to stay away from me.

"I'll see you later," Jason said. He was referring to first period.

"Okay," I replied.

Bianca and I walked to her first period class, the walk was interesting to say the least.

"So, he's going to show the whole school that you're his?"

"How am I his? Last time I checked, we aren't dating."

"Yet."

"We're going on a date Saturday. We don't have to get together after that date."

"But what if you do?"

"Then you can say I'm his. For right now, I'm no one's."

....

It was lunch, Emily, Jackson, Isaiah, Christie, Jason, Bianca, and I are at our usual table. It's so funny,  just a month ago all I had was Bianca; now I have four friends and a possible boyfriend.

We were just talking about random things until Michael and Andrew came to our table.

"Hey, guys," Michael said.

"Hey. Why are y'all over here? I thought y'all sit with the team?" Jason asked.

"We wanted to sit with you guys. If you'll have us?" Michael asked. Andrew looked at me.

"Yeah, sure," I said. Not giving Andrew another glaced.

The table was filled with a lot of people than I would normally not sit with. Andrew kept glacing at me from time to time. Jason noticed this and said what was on both our minds.

"Hey, Kaitlyn, do you have your dress for our date Saturday?" Jason fraze 'our'.

"Yeah I do. It's a deep dark blue," I said. I noticed out the corner of my eye that Andrew's head was bowed.

"Perfect. I think I'm going to wear the dark blue suit then." Jason has noticed Andrew's reaction too. He seemed pleased.

"Wait, y'all are going out? Why didn't y'all tell me?" Emily asked.

"It crossed our minds. I'm so sorry, Emily," I said apologizing.

"It's all good. I just wish that I could have picked a dress for you."

"Maybe next time," I said. Jason grin. "That's if it goes well," I added to see Jason's reaction.

"Oh, it well go well. Trust me," Jason said with a wink.
