When It's Time. | SEULRENE

Irene's POV 

"We're lost, aren't we?" I ask her. She shook her head, while looking down at her phone, with her brows furrowed. 

We just got out from the museum and we are looking for this restaurant she was curious about. I told her we can book a cab to it but she insisted on walking. 

"Seulgi." I called her in a warning tone. She look up to me slowly with a pout. 

"Hyun..." and that's the sign.

"We're calling a cab." I said looking back at both our managers, who are just holding their laugh right now. 

"I think we're almost there though." She said. 

"Irene's right Seulgi. We've been walking for a while now." Her manager spoke to her. 

And that ended up with us riding a cab. The ride was short, since we're not that far anymore. 

"I told you you it's a bad idea to let her lead the way." Her manager said. 

"We would've been lost too if it was Joohyun. She doesn't know how to read maps." I look at my manager in disbelief. Just Wow!

"I'm hungry." Seulgi faintly said beside me, while looking at the menu. 

"Next time let's not choose to walk when we're starving already." I told her. She look up to me apologetically. "Let's order now." She nod. 

Not long later the food arrived. We ate with listening to our managers sharing their hardships in taking care of us. At least they're getting along.

"How about sneaking out later?" Seulgi whispered that made me look at her. 

"What? Seulgi, we got lost--"

"Not this time, trust me." I look at the two in front of us, being cautious if they heard us. 

With our managers here, it limits our interactions. We can't... Well I can't show my affection, they will surely tease us. Seulgi might pull away again. 

It's the only chance I can be with Seulgi alone, today. 

"Okay." I see her form a smile at my response. 

"What are you two whispering about?" My manager asks. They are looking at us suspiciously. 

"There's this park not far from here, Unnie. How about we go there next?" Seulgi said to them. 

"Seulgi just told me about it. Surely, we won't get lost again." I backed up Seulgi, trying not put away that suspicious look they have on us.  "Right?"

"Right. I promise I know the way this time." She assured them and she delivered. 

We've arrived without getting lost this time. We're currently taking photos. All of a sudden I notice a group of teens, I think, who's staring at our direction. 

"I think someone recognized us." I mean, we are not really wearing a disguise. 

They look all look at me. I gestured to point the group and one of them meet my stare. The person shyly wave her hand. I smiled and wave back. I saw her squeal to her friends. 

"You know some fans might take that action as an opening to be able to go near you." Seulgi said beside me. She then wave to the direction I did it in, earlier. I scoff.

"Yet you're doing it." 

"I can tell they're just shy." She said. "Maybe they're shy because it's you. You're hardly seen outside of your movies and series. Plus you are deemed to be cold by some."
