When It's Time. | SEULRENE

Irene's POV

"Look here!" 

"To your right!" 

"Do the heart!"

"You look good!"

I smiled. I can barely even see people now, with all the flashes.

"You okay?" I heard the person beside me ask. I'm not. The event got delayed because they were late. I just hummed and nodded in response.

He offered me his arm to hold on to and I went on with it. We found our way to the corner of the stage where we'll be interviewed for the drama.

As the interview went on. Him, doing fanservice didn't go unnotice. He knows how to do this right, except I don't do fanservice and everyone knows that.

"Let's go to Suho and Irene." That caught our attention. "How does it feel like working with each other?"

"Uhmm." He was able to speak first. "Working with Irene is surely an honor." The audience agreed.  I smiled at that. I guess I really made a name, too bad I will be leaving it soon.

"I could say, I think I know more about her now. I'm interested to know more." I can't help but laugh a little. Really? Last thing I check you are still interested in my girlfriend.

I brought up my mic to speak. My eyes met the director's, he knows I'm not into these things. I face the crowd again. "As for me, I think he has a good future in this industry."

"If given the chance to work with each other again, would you accept it?"

"Definitely."

"Who knows?" Not possible, I'm retiring.

We said at the same time. I can feel his eyes on me. They proceed with the questions, this time with the other co actors.

When I feel like the interview was taking a lot of time already. I got anxious.

"Hey. Can I ask the time?" I ask the actor on my other side.

"It's 4pm." Oh Gosh!

My eyes then search for unnie at the side of the stage. I see her on her phone, looking troubled.

Why was it even set on the same date? It's already 4pm, I'm pretty sure they're getting ready for the countdown live now. The studio is a little far from here, I know how stressed out they are now.

"Irene." That got my attention. "What do you think of people saying that you're the mysterious lady that will be part of Seulgi's new album?" I was taken a back by the question.

Actually I've heard of it, but I don't took people took it seriously. It's like they can't imagine me doing other things.

"H-huh?"  I stutter. I then heard chuckling and giggles.

"I don't think she knows those rumors about her." The director spoke. They all smoothly agreed to that.

After more questions, the event ended. As soon as I step out of that stage I rush to unnie.

"Time?" I ask. She offered me my coat.

"Almost 5, they're about to start the live. We need to leave now." I nod. She give me my phone just in time when Seulgi calls me. I answer it.

"Love, we're on our way." I said. Not caring anymore if someone heard me or not.

"Don't panic, Hyun. It's okay. Like we said, as long as you'll make it during the last few minutes before the live ends." I know she just called to calm me down. She knows I wanted to be on the live than being here.
