Irene's POV

The filming of the drama is already in the works. I've been busy, I barely come home, but so does Seulgi. Her comeback's coming soon.

We might not often see each other but at times we make time. We make sure our breaks aligns with each other's schedule.

I've been seeing the girls too. It feels so good to be in contact with them again.

"You ready?" Unnie spoke beside me, handing me my script. I sigh.

"I could use a call from Seulgi." I said. She took my phone again.

"No." She said brutally.

"If only I can find a better assistant than you." I said

"Thank you for the complement, but you gotta go." I got the papers from her hand before I walk out on her.

After a many takes, we were done for the day.

I was about to exit the set but then the director called me.

"Irene, can I have a word?" I look over to unnie. She give me a nod.

"Oppa? Is there a problem?" I ask.

"Actually there is. Before the filming started you ask to remove some scenes..." Oh. "Kissing scenes to be exact."

"Yes, I did." He seemed to be hesitating. I worked with him many times already. This was the first time I asked to cut scenes. I wait for him to say more.

"You've been in the industry for how many years already. I'm sure you understand how important every scenes are..."

"Let's get this straight to the point, Oppa." I butted in. "You want those scenes back. Is that what you're trying to say?"

"Well, yes." He said. I thought this was settled already.

"Look Oppa, I respect you and everyone here." I started.

"Are you uncomfortable with your leading man?" He directly asks. I look over to the person he's talking about. He's already staring at us, like he's waiting.

"You were okay when unnie asked this before the filming started. What made you change your mind?" I asked.

"Well..."

"Do they want it?" I straight up asks. "Oppa, you know me."

"I do but--"

"I already told you before the filming started, I can't do it. I can act professionally Oppa but a deal is a deal. You agreed, everyone did." I said. "You even adjusted the script already."

"Yeah. I'm sorry, let's just forget this talk ever happened."

"Everything okay?" Unnie butted in. I give her a nodd.

Oppa looks over to me. He's one of the few in the industry who knows a thing about me more.

"Was it them, you asked you to ask me?" He nodded.

"They've tried to talk it out with the writer. They don't know much so I just volunteered to talk to you, I don't want to cause chaos in this set. I only tried because you seemed different these days." I sighed. I give a glare to the people behind this.

They look surprise seeing me look at them like that. Throughout the filming, I've been nothing but open and nice to everyone.

"I guess it's time to go back to how you were before." Unnie said.

"Oppa, why don't you ask the writer to just kill me in the next scene." I said. Oppa was surpised at that.

"Joohyun!" Unnie said. I chuckled.
