Have I Mentioned How Much I Hate Morro Yet?

Start from the beginning

"I guess. I'm not..." I flapped my hands around in search of words. "Used to these feelings. I don't even know what a romantic relationship looks like! And to find out that we... you know, do that; plus have kids just as I'm figuring out these feelings, it's overwhelming. I only just realised that I like him romantically!

"Like, Skylor was never an affectionate person, and I don't think I am either, I don't know how to be in a relationship or care for someone in that-"

Nya frowned and then sighed,

"I wish we could talk about this more, but we really are cut for time." I dipped my head in acknowledgement, right now, I had to be there for Nya.

"The plan will work."

"I hope."

"Girl power?" I suggested, holding out my fist, the burden of our unspoken words weighing heavily in the air. Nya looked up and met my gaze. She bumped her fist against mine.

"Girl power."

We had safely made our way to Stiix without being spotted. The guys were doing various tasks around the village, keeping their cover, while myself, Lloyd and Nya hid under the wooden boards.

"Anyone have eyes on the Realm Crystal?" Kai asked over the communicators as Nya and Lloyd huddled closer to me to hear. Although we could faintly hear Kai on top of the boards, the others were much further out.

"It appears to be inside what used to be Ronin's pawnshop in the centre of town. Morro's there, and it's highly guarded," Zane answered, Morro's dragon faintly roaring in the distance.

"Do you think we can get Lloyd in there to destroy it? I don't know if we'll pull Morro away long enough." I glanced up at Lloyd, making eye contact. He was worried too. Cole piped in,

"Yeah, well, that's the plan, Jay. Everyone in position?"

"Let's do this." Nya and I parted from Lloyd, jumping to another log. We glanced up at Kai, who was peering down at us before turning away, "Tea, anyone?"

"Yes, please," a ghost replied, and I could hear rushing water, followed by an,

"Uh, oh." The ghost poofed and the others gasped.

"You fool!" Kai led the group of ghosts in the other direction, allowing me and Nya to get through undetected. A crane whirred overhead and distracted three ghosts.

"Hey, move back! Thanks!" The crane lowered with Jay as we continued. We jumped over a fence and headed toward a dock... and a pair of ghosts. I halted suddenly and Nya almost crashed into my back (and knocking my bow and quiver in the process), a bucket of water falling from the sky and narrowly missing the ghosts.

"Oh!" Zane exclaimed and one of the ghosts frowned,

"Watch it!"

"Sorry. It slipped." Nya and I crept behind the distracted pair and continued our journey. We halted behind a building as we approached a group of ghosts dancing to... Ghostbusters? That was a theme I was aware of, not throwing shade at anyone but also Kai-

We watched from the side as Cole began to possess the phonograph, speeding up the tune allowing us to sneak past easily. A dragon roared from above us. Morro's dragon.

"Lovely," I muttered. We had been spotted.

"Look what we have here," the Archer chided, pointing a loaded arrow at us. Two can play that game. I reached for my own bow and arrows, but Morro's voice stopped me in my tracks.

"The Green Ninja and the Purple Player-" Player? "-So rude. Hasn't anyone told you it's not polite to be late to the party?"

"Now that we've got him, what do you want us to do with him?" the screaming lady asked Morro. They had taken us to an open area of the floating village and surrounded us, including taking away my only weapons. Extra lovely.
