PHEEM'S P.O.V
Saglit kong binigyan ng tingin ang anak kong nanahimik sa kaniyang kinauupuan. Nakangiting ibinalik ko ang tingin sa kalsada. Kasalukuyan kasi akong nagmamaneho.
Ngayong araw kasi ay napagdesisyunan ko na mag-bonding kaming mag-ina. Sawa na akong makaharap sina Chant at Alerya kaya gusto ko anak ko naman ang kasama ko ngayong araw.
Naging busy din ako kaya medyo nawalan ako ng time for her kaya need kong bumawi baka makahalata at magtampo.
"Prescious," pukaw ko sa atensiyon ng anak ko.
"Hmm?" simpleng tugon niya.
"I felt that you had something to share with me." panimula ko.
Naramdaman kong bumaling ng tingin sa akin si Prescious at kahit hindi ako nakatingin sa kaniya. Alam kong nakakunot noo siya.
"Am I? What is it, mommy?" nagtatakang tanong niya.
"Aren't you going to share with me who is your father's first love?" I asked.
Although, alam ko na ang tungkol dito at pinag-usapan namin 'yon ni Noryan ng magdamag kagabi. I still want to tease her for not sharing what she learned.
I heard her silent gasp.
"Aww! Mommy, it's an adult thing. I am out of it. It's Dad's secrets, not mine. I also happened to find it." mabilis niyang tanggi.
Sandali ko siya ulit binigyan ng tingin para makita ang reaction niya. Lihim na natawa ako kasi maayos na maayos ang pagkakaupo niya sa passenger seat habang ang mga kamay niya ay mahigpit na nakahawak sa seat belt. Pinipigilan niyang huwag magsalita because she knows that once she open her mouth. She will spill it out.
"I am your mother, my princess. You were supposed to tell me that important matter. It's your father's first love. Now, tell me, who is your daddy's first love?" patuloy kong wika.
Tingnan ko kung magagawa niyang i-reveal ang secret ng daddy niya sa akin.
I know she's good at keeping promises.
"Mommy, you're supposed to ask Daddy about it. Don't ask me, Mommy. I-I won't tell. I already made a promise to Daddy that I won't tell about it, especially to you." umiiling niyang sambit.
"My princess, you are my girl. Are you betraying your mother? I thought we were a team. No keeping secrets from each other, right?" pangongonsensiya ko.
"What if that girl suddenly shows up and will snatch your daddy from us? How am I going to protect your daddy from her if I am not aware of who she is? Is that okay with you?" dagdag ko pa.
"Mommy, don't pressure me." saad niya na lihim kong ikinangiti.
"What? I am just saying what might possibly happen." inosenteng tugon ko.
"Aish! It's you," bigla niyang sambit.
Natakpan niya ang kaniyang bibig sa kaniyang sinabi.
"Me?" maang-maangan ko naman.
"You are daddy's first love." saad niya,
"Daddy, forgive me for revealing your secret to Mommy. Mommy is being makulit po kasi." she murmured. She crossed her fingers while her eyes were closed.
I laughed softly.
"Alright! Alright! Stop it. I already knows about it." pag-amin ko na mabilis na ikinalingon niya sa akin.
"Mommy!" she whined.
"I just tease you a bit. I am a little bit disappointed because you didn't tell me about it the moment you learned about it," I stated.
