"No."
That was [Name]'s immediate response to Azumi's confession. The poor girl stuttered a "what?" in response.
Of course, she knew she was going to be rejected, [Name] probably didn't even know her name (she was right about that) and she was known to shut down any person who came to her. But she looked so bored!
[Name] sighed, her back pressing against the wall as she repeated herself. "I said no. I'm not interested in you." She said dryly.
Azumi chuckled awkwardly, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear, a habit she developed over the years. She did that whenever she was embarrassed. If you asked anyone else at Inarizaki (especially the boys), they would all say the same thing about her.
"Azumi is basically a human doll; perfect in every way."
She was pretty stupid, that was for sure, but people often disregarded that because of her body and personality.
The [hair color] haired girl would often hear people talk about her, but when she heard her name three weeks ago, she didn't even bother to look for that name in her head. Obviously, she didn't care enough to look for the person people talked about or to remember her name. Plus, she thought it was a boy, it did kind of surprise her, but boy or not, it didn't change anything.
Now that she was seeing her, she didn't really understand what was so incredible about her. She had nice curves, big doe eyes, a cute smile and seemed to be a good person overall, but she wasn't special.
"Y-yeah I heard ya the first time, it's just that," she trailed off, bringing her hands to her hair to play with it. The other girl just raised a brow. "W-well I didn't think ya would respond so fast. I-I mean, of course I knew ya would reject me! But yeah," she chuckled awkwardly. "That was quick."
A confused look settled on [Name]'s face. She didn't get people sometimes. "Was I supposed to wait a bit for the suspense or something? We're not in a tv show or anything like that so I don't see the point. You should actually be more grateful that I gave you an answer. You people are making things so complicated by waiting to give an answer. If you like the person, say it. If you don't, say it. What's so hard?"
Azumi blinked, sighing as she thought to herself. "She'll understand eventually, if she's not aro-ace that is."
"So, we done here? I have things to do." [Name] pushed herself off the wall as Azumi bowed her head.
"Yeah, I hope yer not disgusted by me," she just rolled her eyes and started walking away, leaving Azumi behind.
"It's none of my business whether you like boys or girls. It doesn't change anything to me. Plus, I don't see the point in hating on you. It's not like you'll magically stop being attracted to girls. Ah, whatever, I'm done here."
Azumi straightened after [Name] was out of sight, the tears she was trying to stop finally being let loose. She knew she was going to be rejected, but she couldn't help herself.
She still had hope.

"So, the swimming club has been running low on members these days and they need a few people ta help them during practice for an upcoming competition. So, um I was wondering if ya would join as a helper until then."
The boy stood tall, trying to look confident, but the look in his eyes gave him away.
He was terrified, and there was a chance he was close to pissing his pants. The blank look on [Name]'s not helping the crippling anxiety eating away at his guts. He wanted to puke from fear.
