"How do you know about that?" She narrowed her eyes, fingers twitching with anticipation. She was ready to beat him up if it came down to it. Suna only smiled despite noticing the silent threat, although it felt mocking.

"I eavesdropped on their earlier conversation, just like you've been doing for the past three weeks with Osamu and I." Instead of getting angry or embarrassed like he thought she would, [Name] recoiled in disgust, her upper lip raising enough to show a few of her teeth.

"Stalker," she bit back, not bothering to add anything else. In response, Suna smirked, looking back in front of him.

"That's rich coming from you," she didn't bother with words. A sigh escaped her lips, ending with an annoyed groan.

[Name] was never one for small talk, but she could make an exception. She needed to get things out of her mind.

She leaned back, using her elbows to support her body against a stair.

"You live here or something?" Suna had to blink. Never had he thought [Last name] [Name], of all people, would want to make small talk with him. He might as well take the opportunity, more compromising information on her.

"Temporarily," the boy watched her brows furrow, finding it amusing to watch the changes on her face every time she wanted to express a new feeling. Now, he understood why she didn't need to talk much. Her face pretty much said everything she wanted to say.

"That's a yes or no question. How can you find an in-between?" The look of genuine confusion on her face made the boy snicker. He wondered if he'd be able to make her crack a smile.

"I live here, but just for a week. Spider infestation."

"Oh." It stayed silent for a few minutes after that before [Name] spoke up.

"Wish my place was infested with spiders," she grumbled, speaking more to herself than to the teen beside her. Suna turned to her just as she let her head fall back to look at the sky. Despite the annoyance in her tone just a few seconds ago, she looked at peace. With her eyes still sharply focused on the clouds up ahead, it gave Suna some time to look at her.

Her eyes glowed with the orange light of the sunset, giving her [eye color] orbs a certain look, almost royal-like. They stayed emotionless in appearance (he didn't believe they would ever show emotion), but it looked like dusk brought them a certain warmth and to her, a certain peace of mind.

He wouldn't be that surprised if she were to start smiling right then and there, but he wasn't foolish enough to hope for such things. [Last name] [Name] wasn't just a good fighter, she was also very skilled when it came to hiding her feelings.

If she was happy at that very moment, he wouldn't know unless she let her mask slip or if she told him. Was she even wearing a mask? Perhaps, it was like Kita said. "She is this way because she wants to be." And it didn't look like anyone could change who she was. Unlike probably more than half of the Earth's population, she grew and changed regardless of the people around her.

Well, at least, that was the impression she gave off.

Now, he could understand Atsumu's admiration a little better.

With all those thoughts running around his mind like wild animals, he didn't notice the girl staring back at him from the corner of her eyes. Not until she spoke again at least.

"Keep staring at me with those eyes of yours and I'll gouge them out," snapping out of his thoughts at the threat, he sputtered and choked on his own spit as he tried to find something to say. After a little while, he just sighed, admitting his defeat.
