"Like I got anything to prove to the likes of you." Mizu pouted.
"You're rude, you know that?"
"I'm not, just saying the truth. Whether you're offended or not ain't any of my concern."
"Ya were totally starin' at him."
"Will you stop changing accents every time you say something?"
"I'll stop when you stop changing the subject." [Name] felt her annoyance grow with every second.
And people wondered why she didn't want to socialize.
"Will you shut up for two damn seconds? I'm a helper, that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm not here to play friends or to gossip about who looked at who and how. I. Don't. Care." The other girl stopped and [Name] turned around to glare at her.
"Wow. I just wanted to be friends with you because you seem nice, but you really are just as rude as people say you are." She scoffed, but was suddenly cut off by laughter. The [hair color] haired girl felt something wrap around her shoulder, pushing a little onto her neck.
Her breath hitched.
"Nah, she's as sweet as candy, she just got one hella hard shell." Suna smirked, not noticing [Name] tensing.

Her hands started trembling as he tightened his hold around her, still spouting nonsense. She was barely hearing anything he could be saying, her thoughts ran through her mind too quickly for any of them to register properly. All she knew was that she needed to get him off. Whoever he had become in her mess of a brain.
She felt her entire nervous system buzzing and her heart hammering against her chest. Out of distress, her breathing quickened, her lungs unconsciously quickening their work to get enough oxygen for her brain. Her chest hurt and black spots dotted her vision. She could feel her stomach churning, wanting nothing more than to empty itself. Images of an evil smirk swirled in her vision and she had to watch for a second time as his hands hungrily unbuttoned her blazer, her attempts in getting him off failing one after the other.
Mizu was disappearing from her sight.
She fell to the ground, not knowing what was going on around her as she curled into a ball. Someone was yelling, and it was scaring her.
Why was it so cold? She had a warm jacket on, so why was it so cold?
She didn't know how long she had stayed there. It felt like hours, but someone managed to snap her out of this nightmare at some point.
"Hey, it's alright. Yer doin' great. I know everything is scary in yer head right now, but yer not in danger, okay?" Her hectic breathing calmed down just a little, enough to give her racing heart a little break.
⚠️
Her hands felt cold. Was she crying? "That's it, I'm proud of ya. Just keep breathin' and you'll be fine. In and out slowly." She gulped, finally letting her iron grip on her hair loosen. She kept breathing, doing her best to even out her breaths and choke back the sobs. "Gimme yer hands."
She saw two hands appear in front of her and she hesitated for a moment. She waited for a few seconds and seeing as whoever those hands belonged to didn't try to force it on her, she let her shaky hands fall into theirs. Their hands were warm, but calloused. Strangely enough, that one detail calmed her down. She could feel their hands.
"See?" They tightened their hold on her hands. "Everything is fine. Yer safe." She blinked a few times and looked up at their face, her brain taking time to process the information it was given. It was the eyes that she recognized first; warm, honey-colored eyes. They were filled with nothing, but kindness. It was a look she had never seen in his eyes.
