The next day in class, Taehyung leaned back in his chair, lazily twirling his pen. "I heard Min Yoongi is in the music club too," he said, like it was just a casual piece of gossip.

Jimin, who had been doodling tiny hearts and ‘Mrs. Min Yoongi’ in the margins of his notebook, froze mid-heart. His head snapped up so fast that for a second, Taehyung thought he broke his own neck. "WHAT?! And you’re telling me this NOW?!"

Tae blinked, completely unbothered. "Uh...because I just found out?"

Jimin dramatically slammed his hands on his desk, making a loud THUD that made a few students turn around. "This is a sign. A divine revelation. The universe itself is telling me that I must join the music club!"

Tae rolled his eyes. "You do realize that just because Yoongi’s there doesn’t mean you have to be, right?"

Jimin gasped like Tae had just insulted his entire bloodline. "Excuse me?! Have you even met me? Of course, I have to be there! My Romeo is there, which means destiny awaits!"

Tae rubbed his temples. "You don’t even play an instrument, Jimin."

Jimin scoffed. "Excuse me? I do play an instrument!"

Tae raised a skeptical brow. "Oh really? Which one?"

Jimin lifted his hands dramatically. "The triangle."

There was a long, painful silence before Tae burst out laughing so loudly that the professor had to shush him. "The triangle?! Jimin, that's literally just hitting a piece of metal!"

Jimin crossed his arms. "And yet, not everyone can do it with grace and charisma."

Tae groaned, looking like he was reconsidering his entire friendship with Jimin. "So what, you’re gonna show up to the club and just start dinging your triangle in front of Yoongi like some kind of medieval court jester?"

Jimin gasped dramatically. "That’s actually a brilliant idea...."

"NO!" Tae cut him off before his insanity could spread. "You are not joining another club just to follow Yoongi around!"

Jimin pouted, batting his lashes. "It’s not following, it’s dedication."

Tae sighed, already exhausted. "Fine. Do whatever you want. Just don’t embarrass yourself again. I still haven’t recovered from second-hand embarrassment from yesterday."

Jimin smirked. "Oh please, my basketball skills were flawless."

Tae deadpanned. "You threw the ball at the coach’s face, fell on your own shoelaces, and got stuck in the net. I had to drag you out while you screamed, ‘I WAS BORN FOR THIS SPORT!’"

Jimin waved him off like those were just minor inconveniences. "Greatness comes with challenges, Taehyung." Then he clapped his hands together. "Alright, decision made! Today, I officially become a musician!"

Tae groaned, laying his head on his desk. "This is gonna be a disaster."

Jimin was dead serious when he said he’d join the music club. The moment class ended, he dramatically swung his bag over his shoulder and turned to Taehyung with determination burning in his eyes.

"It’s time," he declared.

Taehyung sighed. "Time for what? Your next embarrassing life decision?"

Jimin ignored him and started marching out of the classroom. "Come, my loyal sidekick! We have music to make!"

"Excuse me?! Sidekick?!" Tae sputtered as he followed, half out of curiosity and half out of fear that Jimin would do something stupid if left unsupervised.
