The atmosphere in the room thickened with each step the aurors took down the stairs, a palpable tension hanging in the air.

"They have killed many of my followers" Grindelwald's voice rang out, cutting through the tense silence, causing several people in the crowd to gasp.

"It's true," he declared loudly. "They confined me, tortured me in New York," his eyes gleamed with cold fury as he glanced at the aurors, his followers locking eyes with them, their gazes dark and threatening.

In that moment, it was clear—Grindelwald's supporters held the power now. The aurors were no longer in control. One wrong move, and it could all end in bloodshed.

Theseus could feel the weight of it, his gaze flickering over the room until it landed on a familiar pair of green eyes a few rows below.

The man's heart skipped a beat when he recognized her—Davina Dumbledore.

"They struck down our fellow witches and wizards," Grindelwald continued, his voice dripping with venom. "For the simple crime of seeking the truth. For wanting freedom."

The aurors' grips tightened around their wands, the air heavy with impending violence.

"Your anger," Grindelwald spoke again, his tone almost sympathetic, "your desire for revenge—it's natural."

The room fell into an eerie silence.

Without warning, a red-haired woman—one of Grindelwald's followers—flung her wand into the air, her movement swift and deliberate.

In an instant, one of the aurors reacted, unleashing a spell so powerful that it sent the woman crashing to the ground, never to rise again.

"No!" Grindelwald's cry echoed through the room, his voice full of raw anguish as he watched his follower fall.

The crowd around them erupted in shocked screams, and Davina's breath caught in her throat. She quickly stepped forward, her hand already slipping into her coat pocket to grip her wand, standing protectively beside Theseus.

If things turned violent, she wouldn't hesitate. She'd fight—whatever the cost.

"You shouldn't have come here," Davina whispered, her voice low, as she stood beside him.

"Funny," Theseus muttered, his eyes flicking to hers. "Your father told me the same thing."

Their eyes locked for a moment, a silent understanding passing between them as they turned to watch Grindelwald's next move.
