Her smile was the real magic to him.

✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧ The group stood on the bridge leading to Hogwarts, the wind gently tousling Davina's hair as she held Newt's hand tightly.
In the distance, a figure appeared, his hands tucked in the pockets of a familiar gray suit. His confident steps echoed in the air.
Davina's face lit up, and she let go of Newt's hand, walking quickly toward him.
Albus Dumbledore's smile grew as he saw his daughter approach, her footsteps ringing out on the stone.
With open arms, he welcomed her, but before he could say anything, she crashed into him with a joyful hug.
The older man wrapped his arms around her, breathing a sigh of relief. He held her for a moment before pulling back to look at her, his expression turning serious.

Newt stepped up beside them, and Dumbledore offered the young man an approving nod.

Dumbledore's face, however, grew troubled. His eyes darkened with a new concern.
"I'm sorry for sending you both into such danger," he said, his voice laced with guilt. Davina gave him a small smile in response.
Newt shifted uncomfortably beside her, his hand fidgeting in his coat pocket.
"Everything alright, Newt?" Davina asked, narrowing her eyes at his suspicious behavior.
Newt hesitated for a moment, taking a deep breath, before pulling out the blood pact. The silvery object hung from a long metal chain, gleaming ominously in the fading light.
Davina's green eyes narrowed in recognition. The same object had been present during Grindelwald's escape. Both Dumbledore and Davina stared at the necklace in silence, the weight of the moment settling in.
