CHAPTER 10
Gabi na nang dumating kami sa lugar na sinasabi niya. The place was good and the air was fresh to breathe. Overlooking rin ang lugar at kita mo ang lake. I don't know which lake was it.
Unang beses ko rin makapunta sa ganitong lugar, hindi naman kasi ako maalam at hindi rin ako pala labas na tao at gala. I never thought I could go to this kind of place, to witness such a great view. Nakaka kalma nga ito at nakakabigay rin siya nakaka ibang konsetrasyon. I would say that this kind of place is good for people who seek inspiration and concentration.
"What do you want?" Seth asked me, nakatayo kami ngayon sa harap ng food stall dito. We already have drinks which is the usual one.
Iced coffee.
I shot him a glance before shifting it back to the menu that was showcased at the top of the food stall.
"Uh..."
I saw from my peripheral view that he tilted his head a bit to look at my face. There's a smile plastered on his lips.
"Okay po, Miss Beautiful." Ani ng nagtitinda. Bumaling ang tingin niya sa kasama ko at bumalik rin sa akin. Tingin ko ay may kung iniisip siya tungkol sa amin base na rin sa paraan niya ng pang uusisa.
Nako! Mali ka ng iniisip mo kuya, walang namamagitan sa'min nitong si Seth. Mukha lang mayro'n pero walan. Bakit parang tunog naman na nanghihinayang ka? Gustong gusto ba?
I stood straight. Tumingin ako sa paligid namin. This place was nice, a perfect place for unwinding. There are a lot of vendors, spots, and also the view that gives you and feeds your hunger to relax. It's already 7 PM and yet there are lots of people here. Maraming mag couple, magkaibigan at magkapamilya ang naririto.
Bumaling ako sa lalaking kasama ko. Nakahilig siya sa pader ng food stall na aming pinagbilhan, he was looking at me. The way his eyes locked on me says that he was anticipating me, maybe my face or...
My reaction.
My brow arched.
"What?"
He shook his head. May ngiti sa kaniyang mga labi.
"Nothing, you are so pretty." He then winked at me.
"Psh. Bulero." I said trying to dismiss his words on me.
My heart was beating fast as if it was a horse racing.
"What?! No! I'm telling the truth." Natatawa niyang ganti.
Tumayo siya ng tuwid at pinasok ang dalawa niyang kamay sa bulsa. He then bit his lower lip before bowing his head. I never thought I'd be this so unease with someone, with a man. My heart couldn't calm just because he was with me, the warmth feeling in my stomach. Alam ko na gusto ko na siya, na may nararamdaman na ako.
