Still With You ?

Morning – 9 AM

Jungkook was still sleeping. Meanwhile, Jin and Taehyung sat in the dining hall, having their breakfast.

"Hyungie, did his fever go down?" Taehyung asked while chewing.

Jin nodded. "It reduced a little, but don't worry, he'll be fine."

Taehyung sighed in relief. "When will Appa come?" he asked.

"Dad said he'll come straight to the event," Jin replied.

Taehyung simply nodded before Jin spoke again, this time in a softer tone.

"Tae, listen to me carefully, hmm?"

Taehyung blinked at him. "Nae, hyung?"

Jin sighed before continuing. "Today is a big day. All celebrities, businessmen, the president, and our close friends will be there. Dad won’t tolerate any mistakes. So just follow our lead and do whatever he says. If something important happens, I or one of the other hyungs will handle it. Just obey us, okay?"

Taehyung nodded obediently. "Nae, hyung. But… what is the secret that Appa said he would reveal?"

Jin sighed, shaking his head. "I don’t know either. I think it’s a surprise for us too." He chuckled lightly.

Taehyung just nodded. The two brothers continued eating while casually chatting.

In Jungkook's Room

Once they finished breakfast, Taehyung headed to Jin’s room to wake up Jungkook.

However, when he entered, Jungkook was nowhere to be seen.

Hearing the sound of running water from the bathroom, Taehyung glanced at the IV drip. It had been removed—properly.

"Who removed that?," Taehyung muttered to himself.

A few moments later, Jungkook walked out of the bathroom, his movements slow and weak. He saw Taehyung waiting and gave him a small nod.

Taehyung smiled warmly. "Good morning, Kookie."

Jungkook nodded again and silently walked to the bed, sitting down. Taehyung helped him adjust the pillows behind him for support.

"Who removed the IV?" Taehyung asked, already knowing the answer.

"Me," Jungkook replied simply.

Taehyung’s eyes widened as he watched Jungkook take the IV tube and skillfully wear it back on his own.

"You know how to do that?" Taehyung asked in disbelief.

Jungkook nodded, not looking up.

Taehyung didn’t know whether to be impressed that his brother was no longer scared of medical procedures or to feel sad that Jungkook had learned all this because of the pain and suffering he had endured.

Jin entered the room. "Kook, you’re awake?"

Jungkook gave a small nod.

"Do you want to freshen up? I kept your things in my bathroom. Wait, I’ll call the nurse," Jin said, turning to leave.

"I already freshened up," Jungkook spoke weakly.

Jin blinked in surprise but nodded. "Okay, come on, eat something."

He placed a bowl of porridge near Jungkook. Jin quietly took it, blowing on it before taking a small bite and feeding jungkook. Taehyung sat beside them, lost in thought.

Jungkook glanced at them. Jin gestured for him to take another bite, and with a small sigh, Jungkook obeyed. Jin fed him gently, making sure he ate properly.
