12. Operation: Switch Tutors

Taehyung gasped, clutching his chest like Jungkook had personally betrayed him. "You....YOU MONSTER! You planned this, didn’t you?! You tricked my prince into falling for you!"

Jungkook smirked. "Not my fault that Namjoon hyung sees me as a responsible, mature student."

"Mature? You?!" Taehyung scoffed, rolling his eyes so hard it looked like he might faint. "You literally just put a sticker of a bunny on his notebook! That’s not ‘mature,’ that’s ‘kindergarten behavior!’"

Before Jungkook could retaliate, Jimin groaned, rubbing his temples as if he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. "GUYS! Listen to me!"

Both of them paused, looking at Jimin, who now had the attention of two very competitive idiots.

"What is it?" Jungkook asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jimin leaned forward like he was about to reveal top-secret information. "Jungkook....let’s plan something so that Namjoon hyung will tutor you, and Yoongi hyung will tutor me."

Taehyung gasped. "Wait, hold on....this sounds illegal!"

Jimin grinned mischievously. "It’s called strategy, my dear Taehyung."

Jungkook smirked, intrigued. "I’m listening."

Taehyung, narrowed his eyes. "Noo."

"Alright, what’s the plan?" Jungkook asked.

Jimin leaned in closer, his eyes glinting with determination. "Alright, here’s the plan. Jungkook, you need to mess up so badly that Principal has to reconsider and switch your tutor. Meanwhile, Tae and I will make Namjoon hyung believe that we’re ‘too much’ for him to handle. That way, he’ll beg Yoongi hyung to take me instead."

Jungkook blinked. "So.... you want me to fail on purpose?"

Jimin nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly! Act like you don't even know basic math! 抖阴社区 your name in the answer box! Say ‘blue’ when asked what 2+2 is! We’ll whine, ask dumb questions, and maybe even ‘accidentally’ spill coffee on Namjoon hyung’s notes....just to stress him out."

Jungkook frowned. "Wait… but if I fail too much, what if they just kick me out of university completely?"

Jimin patted his back reassuringly. "Don’t worry, they won’t. You’re Yoongi hyung’s cousin, they’ll make sure you get extra help."

Taehyung gasped dramatically. "This is unfair. I want Namjoon Hyung to teach me alone."

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Tae, keep dreaming."

Jimin clapped his hands. "Alright! Tomorrow, we put our plan into action!"

Jungkook sighed. "I can’t believe I’m going along with this."

Jimin smirked. "Operation ‘Switch Tutors’ is officially a go!"

Jungkook gulped as he watched Yoongi's eyes darken with frustration. His poor desk nearly cracked under the force of Yoongi’s hand.

"Hyung, it's not that I’m dumb," Jungkook defended himself weakly. "It’s just.... numbers confuse me?"

Yoongi pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling sharply. "Jungkook, you wrote ‘banana’ as the answer for a math problem. BANANA. What part of ‘solve for X’ made you think of fruit?!"

Jungkook bit his lip to stop himself from laughing. "Uh....well, X kinda looks like crossed bananas if you think about it-"

Yoongi smacked the book shut, making Jungkook jump. "Don’t test my patience, Jeon Jungkook."
