It had been weeks since Jungkook subtly dropped hints to Jin about wanting more alone time with him. They loved the moments they shared with the other members, but with their hectic schedules and the need to keep their relationship discreet, finding privacy was becoming increasingly challenging. Jin understood Jungkook’s feelings and decided to do something special to surprise him.

One evening, after a long day of rehearsals, Jin pulled Jungkook aside. His eyes twinkled with excitement, but he kept a mysterious tone. “Jungkookie, I’ve got a surprise for you. Come with me.”

Jungkook, curious and slightly confused, followed Jin out of the dorm. Instead of heading outside, they walked down the hallway and toward the elevator. Jin pressed the button for the next floor, and as the doors slid open, he led Jungkook out. They stopped in front of a door just a few steps away from the elevator.

Jin pulled out a key and unlocked the door, revealing a cozy, beautifully furnished apartment.

“Hyung… what is this?” Jungkook asked, his eyes wide in disbelief.

Jin smiled, stepping inside and holding Jungkook’s hand. “This is ours, Kookie. A place where we can just be ourselves, away from all the noise. I bought it for us.”

Jungkook looked around, taking in the warm lighting, th dining table set for two, the couch with soft blankets, and the framed photos of the group and them together. Tears welled up in his eyes as he turned to Jin. “You… you did this for us?”

Jin nodded, pulling Jungkook into a tight embrace. “I know how much you wanted this, and I wanted it too. We deserve a space where we don’t have to hide.”

Jungkook’s lips quivered as he whispered, “Hyung, this is perfect. Thank you. I love you so much.”

When the company asked Jin about the purchase, he had his story ready. “I bought this for my parents. They’ll move in after a few months, but I’m staying here for now to set it up and make it feel like home.”

The explanation was convincing, and the company didn’t question him further. Meanwhile, the other members quickly caught on to the truth.

The early days of moving into their shared apartment were nothing short of magical for Jin and Jungkook. It was a modest yet cozy space with large windows that bathed the rooms in natural light. For the two of them, it was more than just an apartment—it was their sanctuary, a place to build their dreams together.

Jin stood in the middle of the living room, hands on his hips, surveying the chaos around him. Boxes were piled high, some labeled neatly, others a complete mystery. Jungkook sat cross-legged on the floor, attempting to assemble a bookshelf with a screwdriver in hand.

“Hyung, do we really need this many cookbooks?” Jungkook teased, holding up a hefty stack of Jin’s collection.

“Yes, we do!” Jin retorted, snatching the books from him. “You’re the one who eats everything I cook, so don’t even complain.”

Jungkook grinned, watching as Jin carefully placed the books on a nearby table. “Fine, but if the bookshelf falls apart, it’s not my fault.”

Jin rolled his eyes and knelt beside Jungkook, taking the screwdriver from him. “Let me show you how it’s done. Honestly, you’re great on stage, but here? Hopeless.”

They laughed together, their voices filling the empty space.

As they began decorating, their personalities clashed in the best way. Jin wanted a minimalist, elegant vibe, while Jungkook leaned toward something more casual and playful.

One afternoon, they stood in the hallway, arguing over where to hang a framed photo of BTS. The picture, taken during their first concert, held sentimental value for both of them.
