Jin stepped into the private elevator, the biometric scanner recognizing him instantly. This elevator was reserved only for his family, ensuring complete privacy. As the doors slid shut, he adjusted his suit jacket, mentally preparing himself for the meeting ahead.
When the elevator opened, Jin walked into the sleek, modern office floor where the higher officials of the company had already gathered. Conversations halted, and all eyes turned toward him. For a brief moment, there was stunned silence.
They knew their CEO’s younger brother was involved in the company, but seeing him in person—Kim Seokjin, once a global icon as a BTS member—was a shock. Unlike his public persona from years ago, Jin now carried an air of authority, his expression calm and unreadable.
Despite their surprise, no one dared to mention his past. They knew better than to bring up BTS when he was here as a businessman, not a celebrity.
Seokjoon, who sat at the head of the long conference table, simply gestured for his brother to take the seat beside him. “Let’s begin.”
Jin nodded, settling into his chair. Even though Seokjoon was the CEO, Jin had been overseeing multiple projects from Paris. He was here to make sure everything was running smoothly.
As the meeting commenced, the officials quickly gathered their thoughts, shifting their focus from their shock to the actual business matters. Jin listened intently, occasionally glancing at the documents before him, his presence alone enough to keep everyone on edge.
Though he no longer stood under the stage lights of the entertainment world, it was clear—Kim Seokjin was still a force to be reckoned with.
The day was packed with meetings and inspections. Jin reviewed financial reports, discussed future projects, and even took the time to personally thank some of the employees for their hard work.
During a break, Seokjoon turned to Jin with a smile. “You’re doing great, little brother. The employees are in awe of you.”
Jin shrugged modestly. “I’m just doing my job. But it feels good to see everything in order.”
Their father patted Jin on the back. “You’ve built something incredible here, Jin. I couldn’t be prouder.”
Jin’s lips curved into a rare, genuine smile. “Thank you, Appa. That means a lot.”

The Shopping Trip
Meanwhile, Jiwon was in her element at the shopping mall. She darted from store to store, trying on dresses, shoes, and accessories. Eunhee patiently followed, offering advice and encouragement.
“This one, imo! It’s perfect, right?” Jiwon twirled in a pastel pink dress, the skirt flaring out gracefully.
“You look like a princess, Jiwon,” Eunhee said with a smile.
Jiho, on the other hand, was less enthusiastic. He leaned against a rack of clothes, looking bored. “How much longer is this going to take?”
Minjae smirked. “You know how Jiwon is. Just accept your fate.”
Sanghyun laughed. “At least you’re not carrying bags yet.”
“Yet,” Jiho muttered, earning a laugh from the group.
The mall buzzed with energy as Jiwon, Jiho, and Eunhee strolled through its luxurious corridors. This wasn’t just any mall—it was one of the many properties owned by the Kim family, handled personally by Seokjoon. The high-end shops glistened with polished displays and attentive staff, ensuring every customer felt special. Eunhee was there not just as an aunt but as a silent orchestrator, ensuring the shopping trip was seamless for the children.
